I'm sorry for taking your time

I tried to sign on yesterday but I'm new to forums. I'm here because you made me realize that I am wrong about many things. I have always had Jesus in my life, but not the way you have him in you. I guess I want to be chastised and loved at the same time. Does that make sense? I have someone to help me with spelling in case you wonder about that.

Welcome to the forum. Please tell us more about yourself, especially your life in faith.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Re: I'm sorry for taking your time

O Woe! There is nothing new under the sun:

Psalms:90:3: Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.
Psalms:90:4: For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Psalms:90:5: Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
Psalms:90:6: In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
Psalms:90:7: For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.
Psalms:90:8: Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.
Psalms:90:9: For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
Psalms:90:10: The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Psalms:90:11: Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
Psalms:90:12: So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Here we see the Might and Wisdom of The Lord. A Father Who knows that, in our hearts, we know the True Path and does not wish to give too many clues, otherwise our Eternal fate will not be determined by our own free will.

I do believe that God encourages the insecurity of uncertainty for it prepares us for a future which is itself uncertain as, unlike Him, we cannot know it.

Simply follow the Bible and you will have some idea of a small part of the Nature of The Lord of Hosts; the Bible is His gift to you personally; a clue (some say ‘cryptic’) and a manual on the highway to the Eternal City.

Re: I'm sorry for taking your time

I'm hesitating when I have to tell about my life in faith, because I have been ridiculed so much in the past. But I can tell you that Jesus appeared to me in my time of need and he has never left me since.
