Gday brother and sister Christians, thank you for allowing me into your congregation.

My friends nicknamed me Saint Clem because they said the Bible says Christians are saints.

Anyway, gday to you all from Australia, sorry the USA belted us in soccer (er football), yesterday, but we'll get you next time.

Anybody else in here riding the highway to heaven on a Harley?

It is great to see another Australian joining the forum.
I see you have already met Charli (She is quite a free spirited Australian Christian lass I think you will find) and I hope you enjoy your stay.

I hope to soon introduce my ex partner Destiny to the site which will mean that us Australian believers will be well represented. ( BTW I recently read in the latest GodGetter Militia Magazine that Christians in Australia are rated as the most dedicated, Godly and revered in the World - As a newby I am learning fast)

You seem to be a "light hearted" Christian which is what this place needs as sometimes the folk here are a little tense

I'd like to think that it was true, though I'm not convinced. Are there any Bible verses backing that up? If it is true, it's probably because we're trying to compensate for having been born in a land of Godless atheists and homersexuals and for having a cathylick as a Prime Minister.

I don't think so as GodGetter Magazine was / is published around 2000 years after the Bible so I would suspect that arithmatic is the key here not Bible verses

But Australian Christians are amongst the best in the world, much like our Olympic swimming team and our champion World Cup Cricket Team.

I would like to see our Christian ladies become the best pie makers in the world...........can't be far off though

Gday Charli, very pleased to see another Ozzie and specially a harley-riding one.

I didn't lose my virginity on a Harley, actually I lost it in a Volkswagen Beetle. I was finding, Charli, that in the battle between the flesh and the spirit, the flesh mostly won. I asked God to forgive me for this and I think he did.

Yes, you may well be "burned with fire", Charli, it is an awful thing to contemplate but who are we to argue with Almighty God?

I can't write a quote from the Bible at the mo because I gave it to my grandchildren, so I'll just mention "Jesus wept" which is pretty sad. Someone might tell me where that is please/tar.

Gday HTannor, thank you for your welcome (oops, just realised you didn't welcome me at all, sorry).

The shape of a football is inconsequential but, with great respect, I feel anybody who covers themselves in all-over body armour to kick and chuck a ball around, is not playing any kind of football. Proper footballers are tuff and don't cry when they bruise or bleed.

No, my wife is not my offspring, that sort of thing is not recommended in Australia.

I feel most of my offspring is not saved sadly, I continue to pray for them.

I am a Baptist, wintersnow. Most Ozzie Baptists don't use the King John Bible these days. I might see if I can get a second-hand one from an Op Shop. (Not that I'm broke, ws, but I prefer to spend serious dollars on my Harley Davidson).

Like your good self, Nob King, I like also to praise Jesus. I am confused, though with the bit where he sent a flock of pigs to drown in the sea. I have never had any time for cruelty to animals. (I can't remember where in the New Testament this matter is recorded and I have given my Bible to my grandchildren), but you may be able to find it for me please/tar.
