I'm scared! PLEASE HELP!
I'm scared because of this website. I wasn't aware that such human beings existed. At first I thought it was all a joke when I saw the parts about beating your children, murdering other people, hating other people and abusing your wives. I thought your "god" was about love, not murder and racism and hate. Let me introduce myself though. My name is Madison. I consider myself bi-curious, meaning I prefer males but I would date a female in a romantic relationship. I'm atheist and proud. NOT a Satanist because to be Satanist, I would have to believe in the existence of your god, which I do not. I dress in complete black every day, coating my eyes in dark eyeliner and adding spiked accessories and chains. Is it such a crime to express myself? I saw in another post that you would call someone like me a "goth fiend" So ask yourselves, how much damage to this world have I caused compared to you? Have I started wars and oppressed those who are different? Sad to break it to you darlings, but religion has killed more people than any other thing in the history of man kind.
Let me begin with gays. Animals in the wild are gay, which means it is natural. And anyway, if you hate them so much, why do you bother to oppress them and ruin their lives? Oh yeah, a gay couple in Canada gets married so an over-religious woman's gay senses begin to tingle and she drops to the ground writhing in pain and foaming at the mouth. (Total sarcasm intended) If it isn't hurting you, mind your piffleing business.
The reason behind religion: In the start of civilization, humans were scared. That's our nature. We fear things we don't understand. We had to come up with a way to explain things so we took all older religions and mashed them together. If you look back before Christianity, you can find other versions of Noah's Ark. Religion also gave birth to the biggest money scam in history: Churches. It was created for power and to strike fear into minds to force obedience upon you.
God: The most popular imaginary friend. The biggest slave owning tyrant ever. Often contradicts itself by saying things such as "kill all homosexuals" and then saying "Love everyone equally" If god loves you, why does it ship you off to Satan because he doesn't want to deal with you? When I think of god, I think of an angry sky pixie that shall sentence me to an eternity of suffering because even though he refused to show his existence, I'm expected to accept it anyway.
Free Will: If god is all powerful and all knowing, he can see into the future which means I have no free will. Also, if he didn't want there to be non-believers, why did he make it so that we're capable of it? And if god created everything, he had to create gays which means they were meant to be and it is totally natural. There are no rules to love, which means being gay is right too.
Racism/Sexism: I thought god loved EVERYONE. If he didn't, why'd he created those other people?
Crosses: If god is about love, why do Christians show it by wearing a murder weapon around their neck?
Jesus: If god is all powerful, why didn't be do something about the Romans instead of letting his child die? Also, how does Jesus even work? God had sex with himself and then made a baby appear into the uterus of a child virgin? How sick is that?
Contradictions: "Thou shalt not kill" yet god tells Abraham to kill his own child, he tells you to kill all the gays. He tells you to kill your disobedient children and beat your disobedient wife.
Mercy or Not?:
PSA 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
JER 13:14 And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.
Greater, Lesser or Equal?:
