New to the forum, new to god.

I used to be in a band, I sang/played guitar. The debauchery I witnessed during my years in that lifestyle led me to a higher path. I was 'saved' in my local town centre by a good black Christian woman who told me there was another path I could take.

I attended the service and felt love in a very different, less immediate way. That's when I knew things had to change.

That's about it really, there's a lot of things I have done in the past that I'm not proud of, but in some ways I am. I'm proud that after distorting and corrupting myself so thoroughly I managed to come through to the other side with the help of a little book and a lot of love from above.

Welcome to the forum friend - I think you'll find a great many of us have overcome some sort of past hurdle that set us on the path (homosexuality, masturbating, wanton fornication, drugs, alcohol - you name it).

The important thing is that Jesus called you here for a reason.

So what Church do you attend? Have you a favorite Bible verse? You do read from the King James version?

Well it's a good thing you came to us. You need to do some reading friend on why every other religion besides True Christians is false. Now don't go blaming yourself, you are new to this and we all have to start somewhere. I think the most important distinction would be to start with this thread and why Catholics are NOT Christians.

I am glad to hear that you believe in God for a good reason: personal convenience. That's one of the reasons that God has all these rules, for our benefit! The threat of eternal Hell is there to encourage us to do the right thing. Now, even though you may have a strong desire to play electric guitar and shoot heroin, you know that God is watching you, and you will do the right thing instead. Congratulations for believing in God for valid reasons!

Welcome in Christ Brother! The saved blacks are very effective in witnessing for Jesus, as most have lived a life more full of mocking God than Obama could ever hope to achieve. Praise that you listened!

Many of us here know exactly what you experienced. When I finally came to Jesus and let Him enter me, it was real and gentle love. Something lacking in my previous life of depravity, when love hurt more than it healed.

It does make me laugh how much assumption and misinformation is posted on this forum.

I have never defended the game in question or any other form of satanic debauchery. I simply pointed out the falsities in another users post so my fellow Christians will know exactly what they are dealing with. It will make it harder for those concerned parents who wish to take action against Blizzard if the information they are using is flawed and incorrect, as we all know lawyers can twist many things, having solid information is the best way to proceed if you want to make any headway against these types of sinful companies.

It does really sincerely seem that there are some among you who are incapable of reading. Iv already posted a full explanation of what I have said, despite being misquoted numerous times and receiving infractions for defending myself.

In the short time I have spent in the company of fellow believers on this forum I have been attacked and persecuted for very simply asking questions. Surely it is folly to persecute someone who just wants to understand things that are unclear to him?

I haven't started or begun a debate with any members, only responded to those who have directed attacks at me and made slanderous or fictitious comments about me, which is my right as a man and a follower of god.

My transition to the light has been VERY hard. I have NO support where I am, in fact, I have constant pressure against it, and coming here for help so far has been a huge mistake, as all I have received is hostility.

And yet, as Jesus before me, I walk a hard road to the light, and I will not let any bitterness, anger, condescension or pride halt me on my path.

I would like to offer a huge thanks to the few users here who have welcomed me and shown me respect/support. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart, this struggle has been immense, but I will succeed and my glory shall be gods.

As my many infractions point out, this forum is not for debate. I did not compare myself to Jesus, I said like Jesus before me, I'm learning and taking influence from the miraculous example he set. The immense sacrifice Jesus made is a great motivator to rise above the pride, condescension and loathing of other people.
