  • My Intorduction to All of You

Hi everyone, my name is Crystal I am 20 and atending college in California.

It has been a long time since I have attended a church regularly, since I was a little girl actually. I used to go with my grandparents but then for some reason my mom stopped allowing me to go with them. She did let me go to a different church with her but after a few months that was put to an end as well. Since I have learned to drive and heard of a few different churches from friends I have gone to a few myself to see which is the best. As of right now it appears that The River of OC is the best. I hope to eventually make that my home.

How have I come to find Jesus? I guess my introduction came from Sunday church as a young one but the first time any sense of a true relationship with Christ occurred within the first year or two of high school I couldn't sleep and something jut hit me that I wanted to go to church, to know God. I would say I know Jesus but not very well- yet. It's a work in progress just like any other relationship.

Well my favorite book is Exodus and some of my favorite verses from it include:

    Exodus 3:14
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

    Exodus 4:10
And Moses said unto the LORD, O my LORD, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.

    Exodus 4:11
And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?

    Exodus 4:15
And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.

Exodus 4:27 And the LORD said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God, and kissed him.

    Exodus 20:12
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

    Exodus 33:17
And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.

    Exodus 40:16
Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.

So yeah, I guess that's my intorduction.

Re: My Intorduction to All of You

I do not have any childen nor am I married. For most of my life I knew that I wanted to be married but never fond of children in the slightest way. Luckily, I guess, my opinion on having children has been slowly changing because of the man I call my boyfriend. I know he will be an excellent father and hetries to assure me that I will be a good mother. The last thing that I would want is to have a child and not love it, causing server grief and disconnect in their life. Other then what you have asked directly I know not what else to include, except the link to another forum that I commented/asked questions (and so far no one has answered), and I think it would begin to give a small impression of myself in other aspects.
