Why all the hatred? I was thinking in turning into a christian. I thought christian people were kind and understanding. So I thought, well, I might give them an opportunity. So I came here... but then my hope was shattered as I read all the hatred, all the anger, all the murderous wishes. You people are the devil, I feel very sorry for you... You hide behind your books and beliefs, but whenever I look at you I see the devil underneath. I'm very disappointed... I thought I would find the truth... but that no more. I guess I'll try to find it somewhere else...

What hatred?

Let's suppose your neighbor sees you drinking a bottle of whiskey and stumbling toward your car. He warns you that if you go driving and hit someone you will go to jail, or possibly get the death penalty.

Does this mean your neighbor hates you? Does it mean he's threatening you? Of course not! He's warning you so you don't get into trouble.

When we see sodomites and God-mockers and nonbelievers, we warn them that God is going to torture them in His Lake of Fire for all eternity. Because we want to make them feel bad? NO! Because we want them to come to Jesus and be spared eons of agony!

I suppose you think we should lie to them and say that their sin is OK, then laugh when God tortures them forever?

Friend, Jesus tells people that to become an eunuch (castrated) is a good thing.

Matthew 19:12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

It is the most humanitarian and godly thing to keep them from sinning, don't you think?

Which True Christian posted something that is not straight out of the Bible? Can you please point to a single post? All is see are True believers citing what the punishment is for homosexual fornication in the Holy Bible.

Wait...do you NOT KNOW what is in teh Bible? Have you read it at ALL? If that is true you probably think we are monsters for telling rape victims that they should marry their rapist just as God instructs them to do in the Bible, too? Am I right? Please, before it is too late, read the Bible cover to cover!

God tells them that through the Bible. We merely tell them where the Bible says they are going as the Bible tells us to do.

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

No, it's not.

Does your neighbor hate you? Of course not!

He's warning you of the consequences of your actions, so you can choose a different path.

Christians warn unbelievers like you of the consequences of their actions, too. God says He will cast all nonbelievers into His Lake of Fire to be burned alive for all eternity, with no chance of escape or death.

We warn people, and hope that they will turn to Jesus instead of suffering that horrible fate.

If we hated them, we'd encourage them on their God-mocking paths, then laugh knowing they would soon be suffering God's wrath.

You don't know much about love, do you?

That is inhumane and sick. As a student of medicine, I would never do that kind of thing to a man. doctors only do it in order to save lives in case they had a tumor. But that is absolutely sick and twisted. It's even sicker to do it against their will. I look at you and I know deep inside, that there's no hope for mankind... And that is sad.

And for the other poster. I won't read the whole bible, don't be ridiculous. I have to read a great deal of medicine books, do you think I'd have time to read the whole thing? If you're trying to convince a non-believer you fail, because you're not practical. Telling people to read the whole bible would just turn them off immediately.
