I ask for help and all you do is cast me down. I approached these forums finding a peacful resolution to my issue, yet all you do is insist that homosexuals must die.

We are just conveying the message of God. It is He that insists that homosexuals must die:

Leviticus 20:13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them

How can you be a 'follower of God' if you disagree that you and your abominable kind deserve to die? How can you be a follower of God if you don't agree with him?

I can PROVE you chose to be gay. Hopefully you can follow this unassailable logic:

1. God sends unrepentant sinners to Hell
2. To be a sodomite is to sin
3. Ergo: Unrepentant sodomites will be sent to Hell by God

4. God is perfect
5. A perfect being would never send someone to hell for something that that person had no control over.
6. Ergo: God doesn't send people to Hell for things that they have no choice in.

Combining #s 3 and 6 we get:

7. Unrepentant sodomites will be sent to Hell by God
8. God doesn't send people to Hell for things that they have no choice in.
9. Ergo: Homo's MUST choose to to be gay.

Friend, what most people seem to not understand is that every single thing that happens to them is based on free will. Now, in some instances, it is the grave blasphematic actions of a loved one or sibling that brings down Gods wrath upon the (on the surface) innocent person (like severed limbs, accidental disfigurement, gruesome mangling death of a child in front of a parent). However, there has never been a single documented case of this occurring that caused a man to go all Homer. It has always been the mans CHOICE to do so. Face it, you want to go to the dark side, you want to go where no man should go. You disgust me.

Our perfect and loving God™ would not punish innocents merely for who they "are". What kind of father would that be? And what parent would choose to have a dangerous, (morally) deformed baby?

All (True Christian™) parents start out loving their children. It is only when the child irrevokably choses to go wayward and begin to sin that displeasure ensues. This is Parenting 101.

If you had children of your own you would know these truths. Perhaps by marrying and having children as soon as possible they will become clear to you.

I am praying that you will resist your sinful urges and "straighten up" and fly right.

You may wish to work on your reading comprehension. I did not say that "homosexuals must die". I told you that God will cast all homosexuals into eternal torment, from which you will be unable to escape and unable to die.

Everyone must die, when God decides, then be resurrected for Judgment.

The only "peaceful resolution" to your issue is to stop being a homosexual.

If anything YOU should be the one to reconsider your choice, that being your decision to place homosexuals in such a bad light. If anything I've grown up being taught to do my best to help others, if that's your best then clearly you need to rethink your life.

Much as I expected. Even though several others have suggested Landover's ex-gay program, and Brother Jedediah has given his own touching testimony as an ex-gay, you avoid all these offers of help and instead vigorously defend your choice of the homosexual deathstyle.

You are not here looking for help at all. You instead want to claim that God is wrong in saying that He considers homosexuals to be abominations, and that God is wrong in deciding to cast them into His Lake of Fire.

I'm sorry, but God's Law is not up for debate here. If you don't like what God says in the Bible, take it up with Him. We're just telling you what it says.

If you want help and want to choose Salvation, I suggest you take Brother Jedediah's advice and enter an ex-gay program. While the success rates are generally very low -- few gays really want to give up the easy sex in truck stop men's rooms, parks, alleyways, etc. -- you, like Jedediah, could be an exception.

If you, as I suspect, only want to convince yourself that it is possible to be a practicing homosexual AND a Saved Christian, I suggest you give up your fantasies and look into secular humanism. Homosexuality is not compatible with Christianity or, for that matter, any religion which (falsely) claims to present Truth.
