I am from Texas, and would love to know more about the teachings of God, but my parents never want to bring me to church! They are more concerned about the television than my spiritual salvation. Can anyone on this board show me the light?

Re: Hello
Start with read the KJV Bible, all of it, every single word.
Next list all your transgressions against God and your fellow man in this forum. Make reparations by tithing. Tithe heavily, much more than you think you should. God will see this and smile. It will help you immensely come judgment day.Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Once you have read the KJV1611 from cover to cover, then you may begin to implement its teachings in your everyday life.
Repent from all sin! That means no sodomy! No bestiality! None of the reindeer games that you grew up with will be permissible in God's Heaven! Only harp playing and praising His Sweet and Holy Name! Hallelujia!
Psalm 33:2-3 (King James Version)
2Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. 3Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. The Only Real Climate Change Will be Hell!

Re: Hello
Welcome to our most Godly forum, if you want to see the light, one method is becoming a True Christian. To do that, you must be participating, and helping the unsaved. You must also donate your time and effort into doing this. Laziness is not welcomed here.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
Again, welcome.
YIC,
Melvin K. Dobbs."In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him." 1 John 4:9
"A soft answer turneth away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger." Proverbs 15:1

Re: Hello
Welcome! Admitting that you are unsaved is the first step to salvation. What is your favorite Bible verse? How many times do you sin each day? Does your father give you permission to be on the interweb?Yours In Christ,
