Hello all.

I'm new here so I thought I'd take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Liam Archer and I'm currently attending Calvary Baptist Church in Houston, TX. When I'm not away on missions trips or witnessing to the unsaved masses as part of our community outreach, I'm busy teaching the young people of Calvary Baptist Academy true science from the 1611 King James Bible.

My favorite verse of the Bible verse is Genesis 1:27:

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

I love this verse because it single-handedly puts the lie to the darwinist religion being forced on young people in the public schools.

We are created in the image of God and God is most certainly not a monkey.

Anyway, that's enough about me.

I'm happy to answer any questions you may have and I'm looking forward to being a part of this excellent Christian community

Well met. Please let us know how long you have been married, how many sons you have and where we can find websites for the church and "academy" you discuss. While I know of a Calvary Baptist Church in Houston, the only Calvary Baptist Academy I know of is in Shreveport, LA.

Ah, I'm not married nor do I have any children. The work I do for the Lord is my main focus right now. I don't have time for much else. Someday though, maybe, the Good Lord will see fit to bless me with a kind, loving, obedient woman.

and where we can find websites for the church and "academy" you discuss. While I know of a Calvary Baptist Church in Houston, the only Calvary Baptist Academy I know of is in Shreveport, LA.

Our church has no web presence as of yet. See, we are relatively new. Our church recently split from the larger North Houston Baptist Church. The Pastor there had the audacity to claim that certain passages of the Bible should be interpreted metaphorically and, needless to say, many of us weren't willing to remain in a church led by such a man. So, led by our current Pastor - James Hamilton, we left and formed Calvary Baptist Church.
At Calvary, we believe that every word of God's Holy Scripture is meant to be interpreted 100% literally.

Anyway, all of that occurred in late October and we're still getting settled in our new building. Once everything is settled, I fully expect that we will form our own internet ministry. When we do, I'll gladly post the web address.
