Hi I'm new here but I've been reading your forums for a while now. I find your views most interesting and as my name suggests I am unsure of what to believe.
Your views seem a tad 'extreme' compared to other forms of Christianity, do you interpret the Bible differently? What do you believe will happen when we pass on? Finally why do you believe that only Christianity is right and why do you reject scientific evidence?

Hello friend, I am sorry to hear that you aren't sure what to believe, but I am very glad to hear that you're interested in True Christianity(tm)! It's the only belief system that is guaranteed to get you to Heaven, provided you follow the KJV Bible to the letter.

Nobody here interprets the Bible, friend. We follow the Bible to the letter, exactly as the Bible itself commands.

"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation." 2 Peter 1:20

What do you believe will happen when we pass on?

That we'll go to Heaven and anybody who isn't a True Christian(tm) will go to Hell.

Finally why do you believe that only Christianity is right and why do you reject scientific evidence?

The Bible tells us that that anybody who doesn't accept Jesus is destined only for death, but those that do get eternal life in Heaven serving and praising Him! How cool is that!?

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

The Bible also tells us to only trust in God, and not to believe in wicked science:

"O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen." 1 Timothy 6:20-21

It'll all be worth it when you accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and we can spend an eternity together laughing at the disgusting sinners burning in Hell! Praise Him!

We know this because God told us so:

2 Tim. 3:16-17: All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

The Bible is the only holy book of which this is true. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that the Rig-Veda, the Qur'an, or the Book of Mormon is given by inspiration of God or is profitable for anything.

How can you be unsure whether there is a God? It is plainly stated in the KJV1611 Bible that there is.

I think you just hate God and want to sin. Your claim that you do not know there is a God is just wishful thinking. You know there is a God just like you know right from wrong.

I'm sorry I think you misunderstood. I meant why did you choose that name? Do you think that your views will stay the same, or do you think they will change? Sorry for the misunderstanding. I wasn't trying to be smart.

I think you should read the King James Bible. It will help you to be a True Christian. I cannot understand how you could deny the Bible as being God's word when you have not even read it.

@ Aussie Agnostic - if you want to find out about Christianity, I suggest you find you answers somewhere else. This place is a 'divine revelation' of everything a church should not be, it is the face of fundamental republican Christians, and sadly, many join the bandwagon with such bitterness and evil. It is real.

Just read their website - so many of the services they offer are point-blank illegal in most countries, and are wrong on so many levels. The hate here is evident from scrolling through the forums, you don't even need to read the threads -- their titles are enough. The simple way they talk to people, the way all new members, regardless of who they are, are labelled 'unsaved trash' until they can prove otherwise. They trademark being a Christian, I'm sure you've noticed, like being saved is buying a product rather than a gift of grace. It's disgusting.

I am sure that if you are looking for answers from a church that believes in literal readings of the bible, going to such a church and asking real life people there, would be a better option than staying here. I am a Christian (the people here will say otherwise without knowing anything about me), and I was agnostic when I was younger, so I understand the questions you have, and I can tell you straight that you won't find any answers here. They go around in circles saying the same things, never really answering, just quoting with no thought behind it. Please don't be suckered in by it all, it is false witnessing. Attend some churches near you and ask your questions there -- you won't get the disgusting attitudes of the people here in real churches.

No doubt I'll be flamed for this, but I don't care. I hope you see through them and find your answers.

The Bible is very clear on what happens after death. It's not what popular culture or the Catholic cult says.

You may think Satan is waiting as God's torturer-in-chief. You may think Hell is a big cavern that happens to be kinda hot, where all the cool people will be.

The Bible tells us that it is a vast Lake of Fire, created by God. He will bodily resurrect sinners, so He may cast them into His Lake of Fire and burn them alive for ever and ever. Satan will be there, too . . . burning and writhing in agony.

The Bible tells us we will be dead and unknowing until Judgment:

Ecclesiastes 9:5

For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Revelation 20 describes for us the Millenium of Jesus' reign on Earth; the martyrs slaughtered in His name by the Beast will serve with Him. They are the members in the First Resurrection.

Revelation 20:1-6

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

After the Millenium, God will let Satan loose to confuse the world. He will cause the nations of the world to war against the Holy City ruled by Jesus and the Martyrs.

He will lose, then he will be cast into the Lake of Fire (Hell).

All will be resurrected. Those found in the Book of Life will spend eternity praising and serving God. Those not found? All cast into Hell, where they will be burned alive forever and ever, unable to die, unable to escape, too late to repent.

Revelation 20:7-15

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:8 tells us who will not be found in the Book of Life:

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Notice the unbelieving and the fearful are the first on the list. "Abominable" doesn't mean snowmen, but people who are abominations, like homosexuals. Idolaters, of course, includes Catholics. ALL liars. That is, anyone who lies.

Surely, my friend, this is not a fate you wish to suffer?

@Aussie Agnostic. I know you Austrians are sensible people, I suggest that Devon's mockery of Christianity is NOT your starting point, rather you read some of the threads upon which you may have doubts. After reading them, I hope you will have no doubts at all about what you should believe!
