Greetings to everybody.
I have found this site to be very informative, so I have signed up so that I might be able to ask questions and, when and where appropriate, make comments.
I am a little distressed right now. Next Friday, I will undergo open-heart surgery. I am not so much afraid of the risks; I'm more anxious about the suffering I will have to endure after the surgery.
Question: Since my heart will be stopped during surgery for approximately four (4) US Hours, will I be considered "dead" during that period? And, if I see a light during that time, should I walk toward it or away from it? How will I know if I am actually and truly permanently dead or just "dead" for the surgery?
Thanks and, if applicable, pray for me.
Sincerely,
Hy
