We don't hate anyone, son. That's why we share the Gospel with anyone who would listen, including Negroes.

Furthermore, we have a strict zero tolerance policy against racism.

Now please make your own introduction thread rather than hijacking this one. Tell us about yourself, your family, and how you came to walk with Christ.

And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

And there you have the root cause of your heart problems.

Why are you trying to "play God" by having surgery done? Why not actually fix the problem through prayer instead of the superficial symptoms?

Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
      Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.

Re: Hello and Question about "Death" from The Bible Belt™

I am confused why you trust secular 'medicine' to cure you. You do know they all call what they do 'practice'. I know when I hire someone to work for me, I am not paying them to 'practice' I am paying them to work hard and professionally. If I wanted someone to 'practice', I'd have my three year old son do it.
You know, if you prayed to God to cure you and if you are deserving, He will make you whole. He does not 'practice', he performs miracles. Last week, I had a terribly sore shoulder from switching and I prayed to Jesus. My pain is now gone - Hallelujah!
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Oh my Goodness. I did not know that. I used GIS to illuminate me to that bizarre practice. I plan to learn more about it so that I may advise other people who, like me, may not be aware of it. Thanks for informing me of this perverse practice.

I can assure you that, other than some youthful indiscretions with a cousin and a Kirby vacuum cleaner, my sexual practices have been totally and completely performed in accordance with the Holy Scriptures.

Although last night I did spill my seed. It was Nijer Thistle -- tiny black little things all over the garage. Stuff's expensive, too

Open heart surgery, eh? Serious. Many do not come out alive.

Let's see what the Bible says about people who seek God at a time of fear and uncertainty:

            Proverb:1:24: Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
Proverb:1:25: But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
            Proverb:1:26: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
Proverb:1:27: When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
Proverb:1:28: Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
Proverb:1:29: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

I hope that gives you comfort.

I no longer assist in activities such as "teabagging"
              ..or "turkey-slapping"
.. ..on any sort of voluntary basis.

I hope, however, that I may assist in welcoming you to the forum and trust that Jesus will lay many fine things on you, and on your family.

Only then will you know what it means to be filled with His love and with the life He is calling you to participate in more fully.

              PSALM 51
1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

(verse 10) I noticed that it is God who creates anew what was conceived in sin, shapen in iniquity (verse 5) and The Pastors will be able to confirm whether your choice of the name Hyssop is a co-incidence or The Hand Of God® already active within you.

JOHN 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
