My name is Utako.
I was born in a small town in Japan, but my family moved to America when I was about 2 yrs old. We became American citizens, but my parents did take me and my brother on summer vacations to Japan to visit aunts and uncles and cousins.
My parents and grandparents were buddhist and taught us the basics of buddhism, but when we moved my parents stopped going to buddhist temples, mainly because there's not that many in America, at least not compared to Japan.
I don't know much about Western religions, Christianity included.

Welcome, Utada Hikaru. I'm glad you made your way to God's favorite forum. The first thing you need to do is read the King James Bible(make sure it's the KJV1611) from front to back. I'm very happy you trying to convert to be saved™!

And to answer your questions:
I don't know much martial arts, I only know a few self-defense moves that I learned from an American friend in high school.

The high-tech Japanese toilets are usually found in tourist hotels. Regular Japanese homes have normal toilet, unless the family wants one of the high-tech ones. And the only families that have that option are families that are a bit more wealthy than most.

And yes, a California roll is a sushi roll.

None of that is true. Most modern hotels have high tech toilets, but so do all department stores. And 2/3 of Japanese homes have high tech toilets. They aren't expensive (some as low as $200), and have been around for a long time.

I actually was not aware of that, but thank you very much for posting that link so I can be sure to avoid embarrassing myself with my ignorance in the future. Although as I was looking through trying to find my placement, but Italians are not on the list. Would we be counted as Greeks, since it was they who settled Italy? Thanks again for your assistance!
