Now let us look at your link, it states:
Celebrating the 400th Anniversary of the 1611 King James Version Bible.
Unless you bought it in the last month you did not buy this particular book. It was an anniversary edition and did not hit the bookshelves until the end of November 2010.

I don't know what you think is a minor price for books but $50 sounds like a book I would want to keep track of.

But the original 1611 King James Bible is not the same as the revised version. And you failed in your objective because you claimed to have purchased your bible from Walmart and you linked to a book that was only available for a little over one month. Please show us a link from Walmart where they state they sell the 1611 King James Bible or admit as an agent of Satan you are prevaricating.

Interesting. Does this mean every True Christian(tm) uses the KJV 1611 version, or is there some leniency in regards to using the 1769 Oxford edition?

By the way, hello Lady Delacroix. It is a pleasure to meet you.

Exactly how many times do we have to repeat that True Christians(tm) use the 1611 king James Bible? Don't confuse the fact that many of us use an online version because most of you Unsaved Trash cannot understand Jacobean English. We are in essence serving pabulum until you are ready for meat.

Well, forgive me for asking this, but does this mean that while most of the True Christians(tm) post verses from the 1769 Oxford edition on the forums, they in fact use 1611 printings in all other aspects of their lives?

Now, while I do appreciate the fact that most people would be unable to understand the dialect used in the 17th century, and should be very grateful you post verses which use an 18th century dialect, wouldn't posting verses from a Bible not deemed suitable for personal Salvation on an internet forum dedicated to salvation be a little, well, contradictory? It seems to me that it would be going after the tradition of men rather than Christ.

"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." Colossians 2:8

I hope you will forgive me for posting the verse from the 1769 version, but as I am a hellbound atheist anyways I didn't see the point on spending tens of thousands of dollars for an original KJV 1611 printing. Hope you can understand.

                  Re: Pleased to meet you.

What does any of that heathen nonsense have to do with this young lady's introduction thread?

First of all, this is NOT a debate forum. Please read THIS thread before making an even bigger fool of yourself.

Secondly, while the internets might seem to be "free" to you, this particular corner of the internets is a privately owned Christian forum. The rights you have on this forum are listed HERE. Please contact a Pastor immediately if you feel that any of your rights have been violated.

Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that. One of the most important commandments in the Bible tells us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. You wandered in here uninvited, and unwelcome .

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.
                  Who Will Jesus Damn?

                    Re: Pleased to meet you.

Hello, this is Janine's father and I'd like to extend an offer I've been giving to other fine Christian girls on this website. You are more than welcome to stay with myself, Janine and Jacob in our four bedroom house in Plano, Illinois.

There are many things to do around here that would interest anyone such as watching rodeos, horseback riding(right next door), heck- I'd even let you drag race the 1969 Charger I got out back(it does a quarter mile in 12.65 seconds.)

Well, it isn't all fun and games, you'd obviously be expected of chores and other things but you will learn how to be a good Christian woman with us. I won't lie, I've been rather than lonely without the company of a woman(besides Janine, of course) and it'd really mean the world to me if you at least came down and visited.

                    Sincerely, Jack Walker

your opinion is definitively wrong, here is some information you need.
