You are not confirmed as Unsaved Trash. As it says next to your avatar, you are still under investigation.
Suggestion: Perhaps to avoid conflict newcomers could merely be suspected of being Unsaved Trash. If they prove to be, so be it, otherwise, they are not.
    Hmmm....

Inquiry: Why does a mere label chafe a true believer?
    Observation: Such chafing implies insecurity.
Assertion: Insecurity is not the hallmark of a true believer.
    Conclusion: You figure it out.

Something about your tone reeks of impiety. I do not like it and I expect that it's only a matter of time before you out yourself in these forums as the faggot atheist I suspect you really are. Please, before your chubby fingers mash your keyboard in impotent rage, bear with me a moment more. It needn't all be bad news.

The problem is that you seem far more pleased with your highly intellectualized style of writing than what you are actually saying. I find it disingenuous. In other words, stop talking like an effete sissy-boy. Grow a pair and talk like a real man of God.

Altercation: Surely an assertion that my request to make this forum more welcoming leads to an insecurity of my beliefs wouldn't imply that I am a "faggot atheist, "chubby" and have anger issues.

Gratification/Confirmation: I am flattered that your would suggest that my writing is "highly intellectualized", but you propose that because of this I do not directly emphasize the point I am trying to make? I may ramble a bit, but I assure you I am neither an effete nor do I babble and improperly use complex words that I was hastily taught by an incompetent English teacher in an attempt to appear more intelligent on an essay.

Clarification: The way I speak could lead you to false assumptions, but nonetheless my beliefs remain uncontested, and I forgive you. One can't argue with semantics, as basically it is interpretation.

Addition: Interpretation + Assumption based on Interpretation =/= Fact

Observation/Inquiry: Were you clarifying on the sake of the dubious persons in this thread? Your post's intentions confuse me, as it seems to be directed to two people at once.

Assertion/Explanation: The city in which I dwell contains a very... unrighteous group of people. It is most unfortunate that said group does what they do, for I fear they are wasting their life. You see, they are a wild group of atheist (some agnostic) teenagers and young adults who attempt to, as you kids today say, "troll" the vast majority of the church go-ers by attending church merely to snicker and make snide remarks about our beliefs. Should I jump to the conclusion that these teenagers/young adults are "major league gamers", as your logic implies.

Continuation: Also, how can you assume such claims that you (or the people who frequent my church also) always know more than the "trolls" harassing you? I ask this not to merely question your assumptions (which seems to happen frequently here), but rather to point out the fallacy.

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Inquiry: Do you always treat newcomers this way? I am quite appalled.
Clarification: Abdiel; servant of God. I love Him.

And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

Oh no! The logical conclusion was simply that you are not a true believer and hence are here under false pretenses. Don't get me wrong, though. I don't want you to think I don't care about your personal struggles with obesity, homosexuality and anger. These are all very important matters that our Church can help you overcome.

It's just that the single biggest emergency in your life is your atheism. You need to work on this first before tackling the other problems in your life.

It was not a compliment, however. The use of intellect, in your case here, is not glorifying to God. You need to listen to what Jesus says. Eschew all pretension.

3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Give up your heady ways and become as a little child. Repent! Be Saved™!

I'm wise to you, Mr. Abdiel.

I'm an idiot, so I was initially impressed with your posts and and assumed you were exceptionally intelligent.

Not being quick on the draw like a True Christian, it took a while to finally dawn on me; if you're so smart, why aren't you already a Pastor at Landover Baptist?

Ha ha, got you there. You're just another dummy like me. What a loser!
