    H..a..p...p.y?

Hi there. I'm a 17-year-old (swedish) person. Most people don't understand me at all, I think that if they did, they would all hate me. But I don't hate myself, perhaps I used to. God probably hates me for "leaving him just like that" and not living the life i should. I used to be a liberal christian, and now I'm at the brink of destruction, though I don't feel I have any reason to go back even so.

My favorite bible verse used to be Jesaja 8:21-22, but I don't feel as if it's part of my "destiny" anymore. (Note that when I say destiny i merely speak of the destination for which I'm heading)

Suicide, isn't that very Christian, is it? , but in any case, I know people have been considering killing those refusing to follow God. My liberal friend tells me this isn't the way to go, but then that's all I've heard on the subject. It's darn easy and safe for me to sit behind a computer screen and speak of this to people I will probably never meet, but perhaps the only way I'll ever know.

Know what?.. really? What do I care what the believers thinks of my actions? Do I?

Hopefully I don't seem rude towards you.
    .

    I'm happy.

    Take a melody,
    Simple as can be
    Give it some words and
    Sweet harmony
    Raise your voices,
All day long now, love grows strong now
    Sing a melody of love
    Oh, love

    Love is the power
    Love is the glory
    Love is the beauty
    And the joy of spring

    Love is the magic
    Love is the story
    Love is the melody
    We all can sing

Well Mloump, have you read your Bible today? You should be praying to God. So snap out of it and get with the progrram.

    And stop singing silly songs.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

The Swedes are famous for committing suicide - it is a direct consequnce of leaving God behind in the sauna or on a dog sled or in the Volvo in the car park at Ikea. The feeling of intense hopelessness is then increase by Ingmar Bergman films (crafted in black and white because you can't work out how color works, and shot on location on some piece of wind-blasted wilderness) that always end in death.

There's nothing in the Bible about not committing suicide if that helps.

Who cares if you're happy or not? God wants you to accept His only begotten son as your personal Savior(c).

Please tell us about yourself. How big is your windmill? Does your mother serve blubber at every meal?

Of course it isn't; don't be ridiculous.

"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

And stop feeling sorry for yourself. Fill yourself with the Word of God!

"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." (Romans 15:13)

Wait, what? I'm sorry, but you confuse me.

I don't follow God anymore, and I don't "feel" that I have any reason to do so. I just don't believe anymore, and I don't want to know anything claiming to be the "truth" either.

As I said, I do NOT feel sorry for myself, and I do NOT hate myself either. Actually, I love myself very much, I'd guess. I once accepted Jesus, and then I deserted him.

I don't own a windmill, but perhaps that would be something. I eat very different things at meals, as pretty much half of them are not at home, but blubber.. I don't think i've ever eaten blubber to be honest.

So you sold your soul to Satan and now you wonder why you're depressed and suicidal?

Oh no, I already know the reasons for why I am where I am. Nothing got better when I left Jesus, but on the other hand, nothing got worse either. I see exactly what you mean, but I can't for anything in the world believe in that any of this could be true. At first I denied it, i kept telling myself that I knew for sure that Jesus was my lord and savior. Eventually I learned to accept the fact that I couldn't believe anymore. Perhaps one day I will once again, but that day is not today.

Then why are you here. Considering you're Swedish, you were probably some Lutheran or some other false christian. Try reading the KJV Bible and finding God's Truth(c)

Why not? Today is as good a day as any. Anything could happen, and your afterlife could be quite a dicey situation otherwise.

I see you're from Sweden: just as an example, you could be crushed by one of those huge, rickety Ikea armoires at any moment, and without Christ by your side you will be writhing in a Lake of Fire for eternity.

What are you waiting for? Get away from the armoire and accept Christ as your savior!

I agree on your point and I completely understand it. I used to ask God to protect me and to keep me, but I fell and failed him on that point instead. It was me who in someway did something wrong, I'll probably never know what it was. It does not really matter either, as I don't find anything is convincing enough to ever go back. At the same time I feel that I more and more accepts my fate whatever it would turn out to be. I can't try and find the truth anymore.

We have all failed. I mean EVERYONE. Don't think you're special or unique because of that.

                        BUT WAIT!!!

                        You have a way out:

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." (Philipians 4:13)

                        AND MORE!!!

"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." (Joshua 1:9)

Crack that book open and drink of the wisdom within!

If you could only see the many, many, MANY ways I have fail God, sakes alive, most of it on videotape (since transferred to DVD), and here I am, basking in His glory and ready for the ride back home!

Believe us Mloump, you don't want to see The Vicar's "Failures: Best Of" DVD (and definitely don't download it from Bit Torrent).

As I'm sure you already have figured out, God has drawn you here for a reason. Who are we to question His plans? Staying curious about LBC and what being a True Christian is all about is your best hope. That, and maybe joining a youth group to share in activities that encourage growth.

Perhaps you should consider joining a choir. My youth choir's motto to encourage others to sing along is "Jesus is coming! Open your mouth." Words to live by. Praise God!
