Hello guys,

First i wanna say is that i'm not Christion (Is that how you call it?)
I live in Holland (so please dont laught about my bad english ) and we have freedom of speechs(?). So i want to say some things:

I don't believe in God, Jesus, Satan, Heaven or Hell. All i believe is that you have 1 life and you should make the best of it.

I just so this is over with: i am a Gamer. And saw in a weblog of a friend of mine that you are against games. Aldo, some games. Like Super Mario Galaxy.

You say that this game is mend to change people in Homosexuals (is that how you write it?) But what is wrong with that? I still dont get why it is wrong to love someone of your one sex(?). I'm not homosexual, i love girls but here in Holland it doesnt matter if your homosexual.

Also you showed some pics of Mario and Luigi on the Gay parade. I didt see them but its likely that this has been Photoshopt. I personly think that isn't funny. How would you feel if i made a pic with God and Jesus doeing stuff? You cant just say there homosexual because of 1 picture. And about they Boxart of Mario Galaxy: This one

If you look at the name: Super Mario Galaxy, there is little star glowing on some of the letters; Super Mario Galaxy,
Then you get UR MR GAY: You are Mister Gay. But Gay means happy in English right?

And that makes sense because Mario is a happy persone. Thats why everyone loves him.

Actually, in English it's spelled Christian.

So, on this forum, we believe that the Bible is the source of all wisdom.

It is better than science. It is better than Wikipedia. It is better than Mette Hjort. And it is better than video games.

Therefore! Everything we believe deeply has a basis in the Bible.

Homosexuality is wrong because the Bible says it is an abomination to God.

ABOMINATION! (That has nothing to do with abdomen, incidentally. It means...well, babelfish won't give it to me in Dutch. In German it is Greuel.)

I'm tired of quoting the Bible verse on a man who lieth with a man as with a woman, so here's a different one.

Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen. Deuteronomy 27:21

So don't be sliding into bed with any chinchillas, goats, or turtles.

I went to www.freetranslations.com (is a little better that Babelfish) and it says:
ABOMINATION> Gruwel in Dutch

And if would read it in the line: "Homosexuality is wrong because the Bible says it is an abomination to God"
It doesnt make sense =S Or i cant translate the line very good

And i really dont like animal sex if thats what you mean with the laste line in your post XD

You're in a difficult situation friend, theology is a tricky and subtle subject like The Lord. You really need to understand the language The Bible is written in, English, to understand the Will of God.

OK, perhaps my sentence is too idiomatic. Being idiotic, I have problems with that -- idiomaticity, I mean.

Some of our more scholarly European members could translate this without using an online tool. And I was joking about the animal sex. We have this discussion on homosexuality so often it becomes boring. Het als borend als eten van slijk.

The Brick Testament may be the proper aid here for you friend since it has pictures. It also gives you the correct Bible verses to look up in your' own (Dutch) Bible.

Murder is wrong, I hope we can all agree. However, capital punishment is not the same as murder. In America, murderers are executed, and nobody could say that's wrong. You see the difference? God doesn't want homosexuals to be killed, He wants them to be executed.

I would like for you to read the whole Bible, but getting you to read one verse is a start.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

I know that English is not your first language, so the KJV might be difficult for you. The Webster 1828 Dictionary is the best dictionary for understanding unfamiliar words in the King James Bible. It defines abomination as the object of extreme hatred or detestation.

To explain Leviticus 20:13 in plainer English, it means that if a man has sex with another man, that they have done something so detestable to God that they must be put to death, and the guilt for their death falls upon them.

In the King James Bible that is:

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. Leviticus 20:13

As my good brethren have pointed out, we cannot vouch for the accuracy of the Het Boek translation. It may not correctly translate the English words abomination and the phrase put to death.

In fact, I do not see that the Het Boek terms the act an abomination, as is done in the King James. That is a flaw in the translation.
