I greatly admire Pastor Deacon Fred and I have been receiving inspiration and comfort from his wise sermons over many years, although I find him to be a bit too liberal.

My favorite bible verse is Revelation 8:1

"When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour."

Because it proves that there are no women in heaven.

Well, Brother, we must realize that it isn't really that certain that women go to Heaven. After all, look at the following Passage:

Revelation 14:1-5:
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins.
These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

You'd think that there would be no women among them, wouldn't you?

Of course, we cannot be really sure about it, but I think we can say mr. Jtoksa has a point here.

Anyway, welcome to this forum, friend. To what church do you go? How many sons has God blessed you with, and with how many daughters has He cursed you?

I wasn't so sure about her anyway...I have my suspicions that she voted for Carter in '76.

Jtoksa, thou hath found Deacon Freds sixty second sermons on this site? If thou is interested, I suggest you purchase Deacon Freds CD with eighteen more inspiring sermons for you spiritual needs. I have all fifty four of his sermons on disc to brighten my day when driving or to lend to friends for their inspiration!

I sort of pity you people (not really) in that you spend your living existence on Earth, freezing, living in iglues, rubbing noses and eating blubber then when you die, you burn for all of eternity in Hell. Out of the frying pan and into the fire.
