[Confused one]

I come from a christian family in Iceland. My parents have taught me to love and respect other people and treat them as I would like to be treated.
I was taught that god created man in his image so that would mean that all people of all races and gender are his children. So why all this hate? Why is it that a religion that is supposed to be about love and understanding has so much hatred in it?

I am a much happier person when I do not have to worry about who to hate on. I am much happier loving those around me. I have friends of all ethnics and I love them all. Does that make me less christian?

Why is it that I will get punished and burned in hell for being happy for my friend who is gay and has found the love of his life who is also male and gay?
Should love not be greater than hate?

Why am I such a bad person for being born in a country without an army?
Is it preferable to have an army and be part of war?

My dear fellow christians can´t we just live in peace and celebrate love and happiness in any way it comes?
I know God will be proud of for that. Only the devil will celebrate such meaningless and evil acts of war and destruction.
Hate is the child of the devil and love is the child of God.

Do not be angry at your parents for lying to you – a child must always respect parents.

All you need do is learn what God really said.

So why are there black, brown yellow and red people as well as us white people? Obviously we are in his image! Whose image are they?

Then you are a dangerous and deluded lunatic. You should always worry! You should live in Fear of God:

You might be happier now, but when you die, you will go to Hell and how happy will you be then?

You get punished because God says so – God hates you! Read this!

Which religion are you referring to, friend? Since you haven't said, I can only assume you're talking about Presbyterianism. We can't answer for the Presbyterians because we do not share their heretical, God-mocking, terrorist beliefs.
