    Greetings

    Greetings to all True Christians,

Before introducting myself I have a question. Why am I not able to send a private message to anyone?

Who do you need to send a PM to?

Now, introduce yourself properly, and worry about forum dynamics later.

    Yours in Christ,

      Re: Greetings

Very well, then I shall introduce myself first. I am a 19 year old male from Hungary - I know, being European may not earn me much respect here but I try to be as good a Christian as I can be regardless. I'm a member of the Baptist Union of Hungary - I used to be catholic like most Hungarians but a meeting with a member of the Baptist church (approximately 1 year ago) changed all this. I was finally able to see the evils of the catholic church and truly embrace Jesus Christ as my savior.

My favorite verse from the Bible is Psalms 1:1.

A marvellous piece of Godly wisdom.

What in particular about it inspires you? What feelings does it put into your heart when you read it?

A difficult question to answer because it's not really a feeling that I can clearly describe. But I would say that to me, it conveys well how glorious a feeling it is to be a truly God-fearing man, as opposed to being a sinner like most other people.

No, thankfully not, and I praise God for sparing me from that fate. While their wicked deeds have played a part in my decision to turn away from them, what really changed me was the sudden realisation that the word of God (as presented in the KJV Bible) is the only true path to salvation and the Catholics have strayed from this path, and seek to mislead others as well. (And how Catholics are particularly bad in this regard - with their worship of saints and such.)

                Thank you.

Psalms 1 is short, but it sure packs a punch. I especially like how it ends:

(Psalms 1:6) "For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish."

We have a lot of people come in here under false pretenses, and this verse reminds me that Jesus (and the Admins) will discover their treachery and cast them out!

                Yours in Christ,

Yes, I do, as much as it is possible to know for someone who hasn't lived in that era.
