How do you know about Him? How did you decide which bits of the Bible were outdated and how did you update them?

a. Make up an alternative God in your heart
b. Cherry pick bits you liked and leave out the bits you don't like

It's amazing how all the bits people cherry pick give them permission to do things they like and feel good about them while all the bits they leave out are the bits telling them that things they like doing are wrong.

I always recommend to people, who claim they follow Jesus, to take their Bible, and rip out a page if it has something they don't believe. Either they don't like it, they don't believe it to be true, they think it doesn't matter anymore, or if it's a "mistranslation".

I'd like to see how much Bible they have remaining. If more than half of it is gone, why believe any of it.

If God's Holy Word is incorrect, or they just don't like it... why even bother claiming to worship that God in the first place.

God had one chance to get His Word out, and that's the Bible. Either He got it right, or He's not good enough to get it right.
