Indeed it isn't.

I remember when I was a child, I once referred to the Bible as a "thing" in front of my father. He exclaimed, "The Bible isn't a thing! It's the Bible!"

Couldn't sit for a week after the spanking I got!

I am truly sorry for the suffering you had to endure to embrace our Sweet Baby Jesus. Be glad you didn't have to be eaten from the inside out by testicular cancer.

I can't say I like your tone and due respect for the Lord, but I extend a cautious welcome into the bosom of Christ to you.

I hope, in time, you will learn proper deference to scripture and develop a personality that is more properly open to Jesus' love and radiates his magnificence to other unsaved.

Brother Deaner, I feel your pain; I take any transgression against God and the Holy Bible personally, but… let’s pray and hope that the lost soul really is on the beginning of his long way to Salvation® and hence still confused and ignorant.
