My name is Jeanette and I'm pleased to finally find a group, church, that is so open with their beliefs and not afraid to speak the truth. It's refreshing. I don't think I really have a favorite scripture. They are all equal in my eyes.

Hello Mary. Yes I am glad to meet you. =0) Divorced and currently living with my father and his wife. Please don't tell me you garnered that just from my nick. Favorite book I suppose would be 1Corinthians. I guess I do have a favorite passage....1Corinthians 13:4.
I have two sons, 23 and 19.
I gave myself the nick because of the anger I have brought out from so called Christians whom do not understand the bible. Which is why I have enjoyed reading through this forum. They've hit the nail on the head.

Proper? Forgive me for my poor manners. In answer to your questions....I am 48. I no longer have a husband to answer to. He freed me when he sowed his wild oats with another. Best pie? Looks as if I have much more reading to do. I haven't been inside a church for many years. I've searched and searched and was so elated when I came across The Landover Baptist Church. I now feel there is hope again, when I thought all was lost.

Why introduce yourself as a heathen? I mean if you wish to be saved by the everlasting life with our lord and savior, and if your intentions are true, and this church is your so called gateway, then why lable yourself so? I'm skeptical........

Well, the threats of beatings came on a regular basis. The devil child wore me out. But I admit, with a very heavy heart, that I lacked what a proper Christian parent should have. A steel hand, a hardened heart (within a soft heart of love for God) to do what must be done, and a willingness to beat my child. I just pray it isn't too late for him. Surely there is such a thing as an atheist who finally has the "veil" lifted from his eyes to see the glory.

I'm not blind, spiritually or physically. You can't expect to comes to the graces of Gods most sacred place & be prosperous, by incrimination of holding our Godly members to other false Christians you have already had run in's with. You should be doing more reading & less writing on here if you ever want to be saved....

I shudder in fear of failing to meet Gods standard. How do I post scripture without coming across as preaching to men? Who are above women and rightly so, since we are guilty of the fall of mankind. I will attempt to post a few worthy scriptures while having a head covering. I prefer to be safe rather than sorry. I certainly don't want to feel the wrath of God like those horrible, heathen children, who had the audacity to make fun of a bald prophet. Served them right.

1 Timothy 2:9-10 I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 10 but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.

1 Corinthians 11:3-9



3But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

Awesome scripture and due deference. You are starting on the path of wisdom and knowledge of your actual place in the world according to God. Don't you already feel happier knowing that God wants you to be submissive and a vessel for children above all things and to have a strong man take responsibility for your every thought?
