Hello freinds!

Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Micheal Gordon freinds of the lord call me Mike . This forum looks like the hand of God is at work, I like it! Can't wait to share ideas about spreading the love of the lord and how to better serve his will.

I found this forum while searching for ways to discipline my wife. The folks at the supermarket told her she needed to get away from me (AND JESUS!) because of the marks that were left from showing her the lords will.

I am sure these forums will help me cope with this problem, the devil seems to be hard at work on my wife and I am plum tired of dealing with the sinners whispering in her ear!

The Michael thing was a typo

The mishmash of letters are the initials of those closest to me.

I host a small congregation with a revolving cast of folks speaking the good word. As well as attend West Side Baptist Church. Although I must admit I don't agree with some of the Westside's veiws which seem a little lax for my taste. I am looking for a church with a stronger "word for word view" of the Bible.

I couldn't pick a favorite bible verse. but a few come to mind

"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church." (I Corinthians 14:34-35)



"A silent and loving woman is a gift of the Lord: and there is nothing so much worth as a mind well instructed. A shamefaced and faithful woman is a double grace, and her continent mind cannot be valued." (Ecclesiastes. 26:14-15)

You can't be all that good of a "freind" to the Lord if you're not willing to capitalize His name.

Also, we are not interested in your ideas. All of our ideas come straight out of the Bible. Where do you get yours?

You are clearly a false Christians coming here to say you beat your wife and using verbal phrases from the bible to think Jesus justifies this and to try and make us be angered by using such verses? To hell you go you deceiver i will watch from the lords alter as your body is bound by demons who rape and beat you.Also throw your wife in there too for going against her husband.

How dare you! I live my life in a wholesome manner and let the Bible be my guide. I need no justification from you or any man to discipline my wife.

I'm not sure which heathen Bible you read but my bible is clear on the fact that I need to discipline MY wife.

I guess I should have been a little more clear on my name...the U goes along with the S, I love my country.

I feel as though I am being attacked by both of you, can I ask the reason for the attack?

Zech, you speak of Georgia as if there are 24 people living here. Yall aren't exactly laying out the welcome mat and I fear you are asking my whereabouts for nefarious reasons.

I was only hoping for some support in the dire task of dealing out the lords will, and looking to speak with others about their experiences in hopes that I can better serve the lord.

If I am in the wrong place then I will certainly move along as I don't wish to fraternize with heathens......are you both indeed men of god?

Ah, yes. Every time I hear this, I know I am dealing with the Biblically illiterate. The rainbow is a symbol of God's promise that He will never again use a flood to wipe out humanity. You'd know this if you read the Bible.

And if you're feeling attacked, maybe it's because some of us strongly suspect your username is an abbreviation for something very hurtful and mean, directed at our Lord.
