  • I was wondering...

Why do you guys not reflect the Christian religion? You seem to preach hate rather than love which is the basis of your religion, and quote scripture extremely literally.

If every man and woman on Earth got rid of their current morals and instead took on yours, we would see anarchy. I know many Christians who love God. They are very friendly people and if confronted with someone opposing their beliefs, they move on to another subject so as to uphold the loving nature of their religion. You people to not have the power to condemn people to Hell, as you seem to do most of the time.

What would God think of this?

It seems that you people are the ones going to Hell if it exists, you seem to stereotype people quickly and are not accepting of other people's points of view. Although this forum seems to promote free speech, this is not so.

Yes, you have a sticky that says that people shall not come here to dispute, but I thought I would come here to try and put your morals in place. Please, come back at me with a quote from your holy book. I shall be ready with a reasoned argument as to why you are wrong in your views.

Actually, it would be quite the opposite of anarchy. It would be extremely orderly.

Imagine, no stealing, lieing, cheating, adultery, fornication, drugs (except for those expressly used in the bible), murder...

That's quite the opposite of anarchy, it'd be orderly.

Only then would there be true peace.

(There are 2 methods to true peace, the first is the old testament version, kill everyone who disagrees with you or is in your way; the second is get everyone to believe exactly like you). With the UN, we can't do the first, so we have to work towards the second.

No murder? Why do I see people promoting the murder of black people here? Some of the things people have said are horrific. I'm not stereotyping your community, but what would God say if He saw this?

Show us where our reflection of Christianity is not Biblically correct.

After you have told us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

          Galatians 3.28

Explain, after reading this verse, how you can promote prejudice of certain races?

I shall not be providing you anything until I have my question answered - why do you not preach the Christian beliefs of equality and unconditional love? This is coming from a straight, white male.

Why do you laugh at the basis of the religion you believe in?

I think you all may know the story of the Thief on the cross. The thief had sinned and had formerly turned his back on God, what would you have done if you were Jesus? I'm guessing you would have spat at him and sent him to Hell, because you are blind to the morals that Jesus upheld.

You do realise that you are posting in reply to an atheist who for some reason the Pastors who are more in tune with the Holy Spirit keep around like some sort of pet.

If a foul sinner of the worst sort repents at the point of death and God (you cannot lie to God) inerrantly judges his sincerity he will be Saved®. This is why it is vitally important to believe in Jesus with all your heart because if you do not it doesn't matter who you are or how good you may think your actions are.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

So you believe in a Heaven which people cannot strive to work towards? Do you believe that "unsaved trash" cannot get to Heaven and therefore some people are destined to go to Hell?

Moreover, I will draw on one of the most popular verses to prove my point. Work your way around this one brothers.

God created the human being in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

As the ex-bead-jiggler above states, I am no Christian.

As you are such a good Christian, I'm sure it will be no problem for you to find LOTS of stuff in the Bible about this "unconditional" love you mention?

My eyes are quite open to the morals that Jesus (supposedly) upheld, and they turn my stomach.

I would have said that it was between him and God (I am not Jesus) and I hoped he wasn't making the mistake of lying to God.

If he was spitting in the face of Jesus as he died I would have warned him of his inevitable damnation and that his time is short.

                              You seem quite prejudiced.
