  • Hello everyone

Hello I come to this forum looking for some answers. I do not in anyway wish to offend anyone's way of life thinking and whatnot and think of this as a learning experience for me. I like to study the spectrum of religious groups and this group has perked my interest. I currently do not belong to one church in particular although I do go to different ones to learn more about it.

What version of the bible do you study?

For those that have many children what kind of a job do you have in order to support the lifestyle?

How do you believe your bible was constructed? If its the word of god how did he translate it to the many scholars that had to write all of this down and what kept it from being mistranslated over the years and many languages?

Do you believe Jesus was born in Bethlehem or someplace else? If so why would God send his only son to the middle east instead of someplace where most of your forefathers came from?

Why would God give us free will and the ability to think for ourselves if he wanted us to blindly follow his will threw the bible?

Did God create hell to punish the sinners? If Satan is the ruler of hell wouldn't he be doing Gods will by making the everlasting life of the sinners miserable?

If women are but vessels made to bear the burden of birthing Gods children why did he give them sexual organs based on pleasure? If it is such a sin to get pleasure instead of just impregnating her would it not be wise to cut those parts off so she could not get it even if she tried?

Why would God let man believe so many different types of religion before Christianity was even thought of as a religion if it was wrong?

What are angels really and what is their role?

Why would Satan rebel against God and why would God let him?

I will post more questions if I am not ban or flamed for asking and sorry if they are already someplace in the forums. I see allot of troll posts so its hard to sort threw them all. Yes I have read a few different versions of a bible and most say things differently although the main story is roughly the same. I have also studied some of the Torah and Koran so I am not trying to judge or tell you how to think. Thank you for for your time and answers and if I am not ban or flamed/trolled thank for for that as well. Feel free to ask me questions as long as they are constructive and not just bashing me about something.
    Take care everyone

Well, I haven't learned a damned thing about you other than you've read the pedophilia-encouraging koran.

You want to start over and see if you can follow some simple guidlelines, guidelines that are cleverly-hidden AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE?

"Here is where you introduce yourself. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus."

Son, this is a forum where True Christians™ come to praise God. It's not a place to research for your high school essay on comparative religion.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Perhaps in your haste to harangue us with your rude requests for information, you did not notice the search button at the top of most pages? If so, might I suggest that you use that for the bulk of your mean spirited queries.

Most of the True Christian(tm) members here are quite busy, and as such do not have the time to answer the same inane inquiries over and over again from the likes of you. But welcome to our forum and may Jesus, if He finds you worthy, bless you!

But our every viewpoint can be found in the Bible. We don't need to think of our own point of view: God has told us what to think and we get our morals from Him.

People weren't being rude and dismissive, people were giving you a simple answer that will save lots of time in the long run.

Most questions on specific matters will probably have been covered in threads if you explore the forums.

The holy Bible was not constructed.

That kind of sounded like you were saying goodbye, friend. If you're planning to leave us without first accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior, I, for one, will take an awful lot of cheering up before my life can be described as anything remotely resembling happy.

Yes, yes, the Bible says we will laugh when Jesus casts the unsaved into Hell, but I had such high hopes for you!

                      Re: Hello everyone

Welcome to God's favorite Forum Lookingforanswers. Our loving and supportive community of True Christians™ are here to assist you in your Salvation and communion with Jesus. We believe the Holy Spirit brought you here for a purpose, and judging from your questions we can gather that He was not far off base.

There is an old saying that says that God helps those who help themselves, and Jesus needs your attention and efforts in your quest for Salvation. You can't rely on everyone to do your work for you, and your teachers are likely to have poisoned your mind with some socialist / communist trash – or even encouraged you to vote for Obama.

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
                      - 2 Thessalonians 3:10
At the top of the main page here on our forums you can find an introduction to Landover Baptist Church – the one and only True Christian™ Church here on earth.

Pastor's Rules and Announcements - "Noobs" please read this before posting.
Please read this. You are our guest. We will treat you like a jewel on the cushion of our hospitality. Or maybe not.

If you are unfamiliar with the Bible (KJV1611) and would like a "CliffsNotes" style introduction – or if you find yourself for some reason "cramming for the final" (perhaps for an exam or if Jesus is about to call you home for the Final Judgement because of an illness or an automobile accident), our Brother V has compiled an excellent reference and guide for further study (Bible in a Year).

Bible in a Year - KJV with Brother V

One other thing I couldn't help notice (and I hate to appear as a "grammar Nazi" about this) is your incessant misuse of several words. You really need to learn proper American if you are ever to achieve wisdom and knowledge and rise to the level of an educated human being. Jesus often discounts the prayers and praise of ignorant individuals.

                      Verb:

                      2. Push or force (someone or something) violently and suddenly into a particular physical position or state.
                      Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;

                        Corrected that for you.

What version of the bible do you study?p
KJV1611, which you'd know if you bothered to look at any part of this forum before posting your "questions".

For those that have many children what kind of a job do you have in order to support the lifestyle?
                        Children are not a "lifestyle".

How do you believe your bible was constructed?
First, the publisher set the type. Then, it was printed on paper, which was bound and covered.

                        What a bizarre question.

what kept it from being mistranslated over the years and many languages?
Why do you think God is so weak that He can't keep His promise to ensure that His Word remains intact?

He created the universe, yet you think He has less control over copyright than Danielle Steele or Dean Koontz?

Do you believe Jesus was born in Bethlehem or someplace else? If so why would God send his only son to the middle east instead of someplace where most of your forefathers came from?
Hmm, could it be because He sent Jesus first to the Jews, His chosen people, and THAT'S WHERE THEY WERE?

Have you any clue whatsoever about the Bible or about Christianity?

Why would God give us free will and the ability to think for ourselves if he wanted us to blindly follow his will threw the bible?
                        Through.

Obedience and faith are meaningless if you don't have free will.

Did God create hell to punish the sinners?
Yes, it's where He will burn you and other sinners alive for all eternity.

If Satan is the ruler of hell wouldn't he be doing Gods will by making the everlasting life of the sinners miserable?
Please show me where the Bible says that Satan is ruler of Hell.

Then I'll show you where the Bible describes God casting Satan into Hell to be burned alive in the fire forever, alongside the sinners.

If women are but vessels made to bear the burden of birthing Gods children why did he give them sexual organs based on pleasure? If it is such a sin to get pleasure instead of just impregnating her would it not be wise to cut those parts off so she could not get it even if she tried?
It is not for us to question the ways of God.

Why would God let man believe so many different types of religion before Christianity was even thought of as a religion if it was wrong?
Christianity was never "thought of as a religion". God came to Earth in human form, about 2000 years ago. Before that, there was Judaism, and that goes back to the beginning of time.

As for false religions, see answer to Free Will above.

What are angels really and what is their role?
Terrifying creatures created by God to serve Him. Here's a good source. I found it with a magical answer machine called "google".

Why would Satan rebel against God and why would God let him?
How the hell should we know Satan's motives? We're not mind readers. And mind readers are to be executed as they are witches.

                        And see Free Will above.
                        Bible boring? Nonsense!
