I am unaware of the reason(s) that I should not attend a study group. Could you inform me of your reasons, please?

I think I have a general idea, but just to confirm; How come I should not take suggestions to read specific verses?
A study group will always, ALWAYS, have an agenda. That agenda usually involves trying to paint Jesus as some pot-smoking hippie who would like nothing more than to sit around listening to Pink Floyd death-metal records and kissing puppies on the mouth.

Tell you what: name ONE OTHER BOOK where people want you to skip around and disregard some parts and claim some parts are allegory or fables or etc. etc.

What are people trying to hide? I'll TELL you what they are trying to hide: the blinding magnificence of our Lord Jesus Christ!!!

It is a book, granted the most fantastic book ever, that was written so any person could understand it. So explain what the problem is. As Brother Zechariah Smyth stated, try starting at the beginning. My wife even understands that.
Friend, perhaps you should read what I posted to begin with. I'll do you a favor and summarize it for you:
I'm here strictly to learn, and write about what I learn.
I am not here to insult or be insulted, and I am not here to cause trouble, nor will I intentionally enable it.
I am not christian, and currently do not intend to be, though that may or may not change.
I am not here to push or express my views or opinions onto you, and do not intend to unless specifically requested to do so on a specific topic.
I am here to listen to your views and opinions on an individual and community basis.
I have extremely limited knowledge of scripture by choice and circumstance, not ignorance.
My stay here on the forums, while I am graced with the ability, will be peaceful and professional.

At no point have I suggested comparing myself to god or Jesus.
At no point have I insulted you or otherwise given reason for you to treat me the way you have, but I signed up being fully prepared and expecting such a welcome, so it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I will not engage in such nonsense, as it will get us both nowhere fast. Call me what you like, compare me to females and rodents or even dirt for all I care, your baiting will be one-sided and without reward.

Hmm. I suppose this makes sense. No point in deluding the direct reference with the personal opinions and views of a study group. Pretty much:

So I'll be sure to read directly from the source and not allow things to be deluded. I'm not so sure that they're trying to hide anything, as much as they are trying to not admit to themselves that the Book's contents are true.
Also: Kissing puppies on the mouth? -shakes head- I swore I'd keep my opinions to myself unless asked, but I think this one just goes without saying.

Why is everyone convinced that I am female? Is there some sort of discrepancy in my registration information that I am unaware of...?

I am a private writer with a curiosity on the subject of "Landover Baptist" and it's community.
Not much of a writer, if you can't tell "it's" from "its", and can't be bothered to write in a readable manner. Planning to self-publish?

This much of your introduction, I believe.

If I must decide on a favorite bible verse out of my extremely lacking knowledge base on the subject... I can't quote it or it's location, but there is a point that describes the care and use of a sword, and something about a scepter... and I seem to recall Solomon being mentioned in the general area?

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

To my understanding, in most cases, something that is usually made available at a cost suddenly being found online for free, especially in terms of print works or other media, falls under "pirated materials", and I prefer not to get involved with piracy, especially with all the rumours of SOPA and PIPA going around causing a ruckus. Top top it off: I am completely broke. I don't even have two pennies to buy candies from the petrol station, so buying anything is out of the question until I actually have cash to work with. I'm lucky I have what I have. It doesn't help that I've never purchased anything online or had anyone willing to show me how.

I do indeed have a chip on my shoulder, I won't deny that, but I'm not going to let that cause any issues here. Like I said, I'm going to make my stay a peaceful and professional one.
As far as "tough questions", not hardly. I have no intention to sway anyone's views, opinions, or beliefs (outside of those regarding myself on a personal level), as that's not my place to do so. I'm legitimately here to study and learn anything and everything related to Landover Baptist and its community.

To the contrary, I dare say that I am quite an acceptable writer, especially given my age and education. Chastise me all you like for minor punctuation errors. I do believe that I said I am a "learning writer", and no-one is absolutely perfect in even their most proficient skills. There is always room for improvement, no matter what you do in life. I'm aware of my flaws in writing, and that's why I have editors - It's their job.

First: I am male, as I have told you before, and I have no desire to have a homosexual relationship, let alone wed another male. Pretty sure that's illegal in this state anyway. I am happily in a relationship with a wonderful girl, and have no intention of leaving her. As for god-hating, neither of us are such. We're merely indifferent.

Second: I'm hear to learn about Landover Baptist, and if God is not a part of that, then I'm in the wrong place.

This learning writer does, and I have two of them as a matter of fact, who both enjoy working with me. You just learned something new, it seems.

Unless you have constructive criticism to offer, you no longer have room or material to speak to me about my literary problems, and as such, I will view any further attempts as baiting, and ignore them completely.

Please note: I am writing of my experiences here on the forums as well. Please, continue to mock me, if that is indeed what you wish to have published in a book about your church.

Well, that's his judgement to make, I suppose. My time will come for that. Not sure if I'm keen on either of those ideas, either. "Be digested forever, or burn forever."

This ain't about US, cowboy: this is about YOU.

(2 Corinthians 5:10) "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."

You have some very important decisions to make, and soon, because Jesus could throw you in a volcano or have a herd of buffalo stampede over you at any moment and then you're up poop creek without a saddle.

Now, instead of being cutesy and cavalier with your Salvation, how about taking an objective look at your situation and giving up your life to the Lord? I mean, all he did was die on the cross for maggots like you (currently) and me (formerly).

                            Tick tock!

                            Yours in Christ,

Isaiah 34:6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

John 5:46,47 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
