  • New here... Need help.

I am looking for help in any place I can, and an introduction seems ill-fitting for my "problem".
A friend of mine works at a library around here, and has kindly allowed me to use his email and one of the terminals for my research. Being homeless, my replies may be intermittent at best...

I thought a board with men of God could push me in the right direction.
    Science has no true answers....

How about if you stop wasting God's precious bandwidth and get on with your introduction? What is your name? What is your age? What is your religious background? What are your filthy and perverted sins? Spit it out, girl!

God does not want to hear about your problems young lady, He (and we) only want to know about your praise of His perfection. I would hope if you are sleeping in the periodical section that you may be using a KJV for a pillow. Try reading it and let us know what verse do you think most aptly describes how God cares about you.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

        Re: New here... Need help.

Alright, introduction. My name is Caleb Brenen. I was struck by a pickup truck on February 12th of last year, I don't know where... All I remember is awakening in a hospital, after being discharged I tried to piece everything together to no avail.
I have been seeking help due to the nature of my problem. It all started in July. I was sleeping by a sewer grate, relishing the warmth when a local preacher was giving a sermon to the destitute and disenfranchised. A few guys wearing all black began to harass him. The guy was always kind to us, the worthless scraps of a doomed human cesspit. The men began harassing him, smacking his bible to the ground, their pasty expressions locked in a sneer. I got up and warned them to stop, and one flashed some pagan symbol on a gold chain, chanting all the while.

I awakened the next day with blood spatters on my tattered coat, my knuckles shattered, and the preacher was thanking me, but praying for my salvation.
These events occur with increasing frequency, the blackouts followed by waking in strange areas. And I believe I may have killed someone. It always seems to happen around the dregs of society. The Mormons, the Muslim clans, pagan practitioners, and prostitutes.

That, is my introduction. As you can see, I am desperate. I have to go for the night, the librarian is getting flustered at my refusal to leave.

Ugh, another beggar. Friend, God only helps those that help themselves. The first step would be to set up a tithing schedule with the Church.

Hmm, either that or Jesus made them that way, whether for punishment or amusement we can't be sure:

You're homeless? Oh, I'm really sorry to hear that. It must be tough out there. I'm still living with my parents, being only seventeen, so I can't help with getting you a house. But if you ever want to talk to anyone, I'm here.
And I'm saddened that the folks here are so disillusioned that they think you can catch being crippled. It's a physical ailment, not something you can catch, and especially not over the Internet.
I had a broken foot once, but that didn't mean everyone who came into contact with me also got a broken foot. Just keep looking, I'm sure you'll find a great job somewhere and be able to afford an apartment.
