    Want to be a christian, need help!

    Okay so, I've always been open for different things.
    Such as politics, taste in music and taste for food.

    However, I feel more and more fear that I will burn in hell if I continue my current lifestyle.

    The people on this forum seem to sure about their thing, so there must be something behind them to strengthen them.
    That I presume is god, because what else would it be?

    I do not wish this, so I am asking for help.
    I currently live in Sweden, and I am baptised.

    What do I need to do to become a true christian? (Apart from praying to god)

    Can I still be saved?
    May I not watch ''My little pony'' or play Minecraft anymore?

    And yes, I am serious.
    I am ready to change my life in pretty heavy ways if that is needed.

    So please, give me all of the tips and advices that you can think of.

    If I receive serious answers, and feel that you can help me, I will come back with more questions!

    Welcome to the forums.

    Are you a mocker who is tall, or someone who mocks the tall?

    The first tip I'd give is to tell us your favourite Bible verse. Mine has changed since I first registered here and I've come to recognise the quiet awe of Genesis 19:26 - it shows the price for disobedience to God's word and also the silliness of women perfectly.

    But what's yours? And if you don't have one, then stop posting here, stop mocking the tall/being tall and mocking and go and read the Bible. Cover to cover, all of it.

      I made some posts that someone did not agree with, and may have been offending.
      Therefor, my name was changed.

      It was a while ago since I read the bible, and I never read all of it.
      So sadly, I cannot tell you my favourite verse, but maybe you can give me some tips on good ones to start with!

        Well, why are you still here? Go and read the Bible! Run!

        I'd suggest you read through it a couple of times and then re-read the posts you made here and see if you can now see how they offended God.

          I do not have access to a bible.
          All of my family are non-believers.
          Is there any online version of it?
          I do not want to risk reading a false version of it, therefore I am asking you to suggest me a good one.

          I would be greatly pleased if you were to do that.

            There are no false Bibles. There's the King James 1611 version and a load of books that, presumably inspired by Satan, have "Bible" written on the cover but, as they are not the KJV 1611, are not Bibles. It really is quite simple.

            If you want to find an online version I'd suggest using one of these new fangled "Internet Search Engines". In my experience they're very useful for searching the Internet. I'm not sure what the word "Engine" is doing there but I don't really understand engines and computers so maybe its there for a perfectly good reason.

              I do know a lot about the internet, and of course I know about search engines such as ''Bing'', ''Google'' and more.

              On the internet you can find about anything, but also there are a lot of false, or faked things.

              Therefor I want to make sure that the bible that I read is the correct one, and that the thing that I am reading actually is a bible.

              I am sure that some of the members on this forum has read something like a online bible.

              Otherwise, I'll have to try to find a store that sells one.

                If'n you're too hopped up on the drugs to type in 'Bible (KJV1611)' into Google I don't cotton how'n you could be smart enough to be a True Christian™.

Most God-mockers come here and think they're winning some kind of points for being idiots, and using their limited time on this earth for vainglory.                         The Word of God can be had for free if you just visit your local Independent Baptist Church and ask the Pastor for one. Make sure you ask specifically for a KJV1611 Authorized Version Bible.

                          @ TheTallMocker: Even though i am not worthy of giving advice, i find it difficult to believe that it should be so hard to come by a King James Bible in Sweden.

                          If this problem seems already unsolvable to you, let me remind you what true devotion to the faith should look like!
