Welp, I've just read a little and thought I'd join. If anything I guess for the opinions, and maybe a tad for the novelty. I'm a 21 year old Mormon, that's accepted Christ. Read the Bible probably four times a week. My favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13. "I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me" Nice to meet you all!

Welcome friend. Tell me, how is Your Savior, Jesus Christ, a 'Novelty'? Do you honestly think God is no different than a popsicle stick?Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Is it true that in a situation where one of your cult/denomination/sect/coven, has several wives, one of them is actually called "the head wife"?Originally posted by AlucardtheHumble View PostPlease elaborate on how you think it's a cult. Thanks
If so, explain in detail why this is so and remember this is a family forum.

Okay Chuckles, which "Him" are we talking about? The Bood-brothers-with-Satan Jesus, or the Only Begotten Son of God, part of the Holy Trinity, Jesus?Originally posted by AlucardtheHumble View Postno not at all! Just was curious.

A guy down my road has been visited by an angel called 'Retardi'. Apparently some gypsies have left some golden tablets at their caravan site and my neighbor has dug them up and they are a further revelation from God.
Some of my other neighbors have joined his new 'serious' religion of Retardom and the 'even later day saints'. Do you want his contact details?

Who knew?1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Who knew?Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Nope, never heard the word.
It's so clever and original!Hungarian Count Alucard (Lon Chaney Jr.), a mysterious stranger, arrives in the U.S. invited by Katherine Caldwell (Louise Allbritton), one of the daughters of New Orleans plantation owner Colonel Caldwell (George Irving). Shortly after his arrival, the Colonel dies of apparent heart failure and leaves his wealth to his two daughters, with Claire receiving all the money and Katherine his estate "Dark Oaks." Katherine, a woman with a taste for the morbid, has been secretly dating Alucard and eventually marries him, shunning her long-time boyfriend Frank Stanley. Frank confronts the couple and tries to shoot Alucard but the bullets pass through the Count's body and hit Katherine, seemingly killing her.
A shocked Frank runs off to Dr. Brewster, who visits Dark Oaks and is welcomed by Alucard and a living Katherine. The couple instruct him that henceforth they will be devoting their days to scientific research and only welcome visitors at night. Frank goes on to the police and confesses to the murder of Katherine. Brewster tries to convince the Sheriff that he saw Katherine alive and that she would be away all day, but the Sheriff insists on searching Dark Oaks. He finds Katherine's dead body and has her transferred to the morgue.
Meanwhile, Hungarian Professor Lazlo arrives at Brewster's house. Brewster has noticed that Alucard is Dracula spelled backwards and Lazlo suspects vampirism.
So, what does the Mormon cult say about murdering other people and drinking their blood?Bible boring? Nonsense!

Re: New to this forum. I am a Moroon and Think God is a Novelty.
Man, stuff came at me quick. haha my name is Alucard because of a movie way back in i believe the 50's or so, called Son of Dracula. Had to watch it in a film studies class back in high school, and it ended up being a cult classic, no pun intended. The reasoning for multiple wives, back in early Church history, when we were being forced out of states, husbands were killed, leaving women alone to raise their kids. To allow the widows to accompany them west, they would "marry" them, to allow them to legally take care of the extra family.Ecclesiastes 4:5 The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh.
