I don't wish to embarrass her, but back when she was first discovering Jesus, Mrs. Etheldreda made many a faux pas! Why, she even thought not only that Job had sinned, but then actually suggested that somehow the new wife and children God gave him (after allowing Satan to slaughter the old ones) were not as satisfactory to Job, since wives and children aren't replaceable objects!

Really, I should let her choose the stories to share. Some are rather humiliating. That was just a tame one.
Oh Reverend, you embarrass me! It's true, Princess, I actually did think that! Imagine, suggesting that the LORD can't whip up a help meet and a quiver full in the blink of an eye!

If it makes you feel any better, Princess, I will admit to wearing linen and cotton blend mixes all the time. I confess, it was the style and convenience of washing that duped me into such lowliness.

But as I got to know Jesus, and let Him into my heart, I learned the errors of my ways. Of course I still err, obviously, but my husband is a good man and will help me...er, remember to mind my words better and not fool myself into thinking I have anything valuable to contribute when it comes to theology.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Sister, your wisdom in the Lord grows with each passing day.

It is truly a thing of beauty.

I pray that Princess will become equally beautiful in the Spirit.

And your prayers might come true

I'm deeply sorry about before I hope I've learnt something from today's error.

        My dad's full of wisdom:

"Do you learn from your mistake or do you run from it?"

Back on the rails to the True destination!

          Re: Hey there

Sorry for the previous post. You don't think too much after something like this.

Mary, it does make feel a little better. I just don't like being the cause of pain on other people.
But knowing that it's normal to be a little dumb to begin with (no excuse) makes me feel a lot better.

I hope I can be a True Christian like you.

You should probably quit hitting the booze so much. Being Australian is no excuse.

I, like you, am still unsaved trash, and praying fervently to The LORD Jesus to Come Unto me and click the button that will make me a True Christian.

And you should probably remove the beam from thine own eye before attempting to remove the speck from Princess's.

                Hey guys, I'm back.
After a serious reality check I've decided to return to you more open than before.
Yes I am a drunkard but hid it from you due to the fear of rejection. There's another issue I'm facing that I'd rather not reveal to the world. But for now I'm here to continue my journey to becoming a True Christian and kicking those satanic habits that have been plaguing my life.

                I would love any suggestions.

And I'm still reading my bible, although not as much.

Did you engage in public orgies while drunk? How many times did some drunken aligator hunter defile you while you were passed out nude on a bench in a public park?

How many sex partners have you had? don't lie. Jesus knows.

Did you ever star in pornographic films? If so please provide a link.

That would explain a fair number of your posts, Nicole.

I'm glad you are finally admitting your problem. Admitting the problem is the first step to Salvation, you know!

Every time you are tempted to pick up that bottle, pick up the Book instead! Sure, some people would say that you should meet new friends, or play a sport, or exercise, or you should go volunteer for a charity or a political campaign, or any number of other "activities", but believe me when I tell you that it is far more rewarding to sit alone in your room reading the Bible than to be out interacting with sinners!

Reading the bible also helps control the urge to maturbate and huff whippets. I know all about it and yes, even Americans can be tempted, not just people from a former colony for criminals and sodomites.

Reverend, with all due respect, I think that would be blasphemous.
