Of course we like it. We like the whole Bible. It seemed like a pointless question and I wondered if we were going to be treated to some sort of amazing insight into your thoughts on something or other at any moment after saying, "Yes!"

So, I'll bite.

thou art clothed with honor and majesty:
who covers thyself with light as with a garment: who
stretches out the heavens like a curtain.

Sun hynm to Aton:
Thou appearest beautifully on the horizon of heaven,
Thou living Aton, the beginning of life!



Psalm 104:
The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together,
and lay them down in their dens. Man goeth forth unto
his work and to his labor until the evening. They give
drink to every beast of the field.... He watereth the
hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the
fruit of thy works.

Sun hymn to Aton:
At daybreak, when thou arisest on the horizon,
when thou shinest as the Aton byday,... their
arms are raised in praise at they appearance. All
the world, they do their work. All beasts are
content with their pasturage; trees and plants are
flourishing.



Psalm 104:
Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all
the beasts of the forest do creep forth. The young lions
roar after their prey and seek their meat from God.

Sun hynm to Aton:
Every lion is come forth from his den; All
creeping things, they sting. Darkness is a shroud,
and the earth is in stillness, for he who made them
rests in his horizon.

It's not a non-issue. Your God obviously broke his own laws (if he really inspired the writing of the Bible). Do not take other people's things!

Look, I know you're looking for controversy and an argument on this amazing issue you think you've discovered that nobody has ever brought forwards or by now we'd all have converted to atheism but you're not being very original; you're being very very boring.

Because it damages the Christian, his environment, his life and hurts others by spreading of intolerance. In principle, the Bible is not intolerant, when you don't take it literally.

So I looked up this so-called "sun hymn to Aton (sic)" and found a picture of this:



Do you honestly think that you could translate that to Psalms 104? Seriously?
