The Bible was written by people you know... People with formed opinions, wether good or kinda over the top brutal. Back in ancient times it was the norm to hate what was different. It wasn't hard to associate "God deems it as so" with brutal hatred on the different individuals. Look at human nature as a whole, they try to play a Deity card to make up for bad actions and to justify it. Non Christian religions have done this too, so other religions are guilty of the "God(s) says so" argument.


I follow my heart, not words written by ragey mortals written in a time where killing the different was okay, and yes, I have read the bible alot, and I see tons of things about forgivness and love, even acceptance. But, I see the rage of mere mortals as well.

Depends on who and what kinda person you are, but I choose the love, not the wrath. Just leave me outta the local homo stoning, I'm busy feeding hungry people.

So basically you are angry with people for not making up a god inside their heads that is exactly like the god you made up in yours. How did you find out about Christ, you total fake?

God has been burnt by many people. Look what the joos did to Jesus! So I certainly understand why He does not trust people. I think (and of course He is) very smart to hate everyone and then make them prove themselves worthy of His Love.

Imagine this. You are the owner of a town. A person, you do not know them from Adam, comes up to you and wants to borrow $1,000. For eons, God did just that, only to never get repaid. So His new plan is to pay Him first then He will loan you the money. It is just like a pre-paid debit card. Once you have paid and borrowed many times successfully, then He might trust you, a little.

What objective source of information about God do you have, outside of the Bible?

God hates and will torture billions of people. That's not love, now is it?
