I was not "on it" in Bruges, too. Have you been there? Vile is not the word! I was in a mad rush, got lost, cars, roads and speed traps to drive you nuts and I had to get back to Warks 'cause the girls who board with me are, how can I put it? "Odd" fits the bill I think know what I mean? But all I got in the end was more France. What a waste of time!

The newspapers are full of the story today. The UK has rejected the new EU financial treaty. At the same time the British seem to think they will be allowed to remain in the political and economic entity called the European Union. Not surprisingly the major European powers are enraged and disdainful. Sarkosy refused to shake Cameron's hand at the end of the day. Isn't that enough of a message?

Looks like the thread is truth!
