Yes my church acknowledges Paul's opinion on women in the church.

He's doing it again. Notice he says his church acknowledges Paul's "opinion," not necessarily the Truth of God as revealed to Paul.

This one is a shifty one. He may indeed be a wolf in sheep's clothing.

"But let your communication be , Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil." (Matthew 5:37)

He actually is trying to justify ignoring certain bits of the Bible as just the opinion of the author of that book. How very dreadful.

That means that in his eyes all the prophecies are just opinions and even the gospels are prone to the personal spin of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. You could pretty much write your own Bible from the bits that are left then convince yourself you follow the whole Bible and lie to the faces of those who lack discernment.

What a low down dirty trick!

Of course we are. We are True Christians(tm).

We follow the entire Bible exactly as God intended except where doing so would result in prosecution under secular law. We do not make excuses or bemoan what God asks of us nor do we question His perfection.
