Hm. Well, here is one good thing. Unlike the other Christian forum I got redirected from, the higher-ups here do give chances. Perhaps I also looked in the wrong threads at first since those particular ones were somewhat negative and did seem judgmental. I assure you I wasn't judging the entire community here, just by a lot of what I saw that was... well, just not nice :/

    Okay. Here we go.

I was born and raised Christian with a wide variety of interests from little hobbies to the arts to the big world of religion, science and cultures (it's okay to like all those at once, right?) I have not yet picked a favorite verse from the bible because I'm busy reading it through, which seems important first. Jesus is important in my life because through Him I have met some amazing people, accomplished goals, and have been inspired. Pretty sure he saved me along the way somewhere.

Once again, I didn't come here to bash people for following morals, I simply came here and got baffled, confused, and curious. The questions I asked were not to upset anyone, just hoping to get answers and clear up my scrambled head on those particular things. If it makes it better, I am used to blunt and honest words without taking it offensively, and it did rub off on me some. I will turn my sensitivity up a notch for the sake of those in this community.

Hope to get along with everyone better in the future.

See! That's much better. It's easy to lose moral compass if you have left the Bible out of your life. Why if left to your own devices you end up thinking disobedient children ought not to be beaten then killed if they don't change their ways and that just won't do! A quick dose of the morality your nation was built on will have you joining us in campaigning for righteous changes in the law so we can remove evil from among us real quick.

I hope your Bible reading goes well.

That's a great thing you have diverse members from across the globe

It was simply the way it was in the thread about someone being judged for being Swedish. I can't really quote at what they said since I closed the window awhile back, but also not going to be pointing fingers. It's not what this thread is about, afterall.

The way you worded your opening post identified you as a woman. I have been at this a long time and I'm rarely wrong, but I will admit if I am.

My guess was female mid to late 20's, which would mean you are likely married. If not, it would be a bit strange.
That makes sense. Writing styles do differ between genders, I understand.

And no, I am not in that age group And don't worry though, not all Christian women are married in that time, not as weird as you think. Though, for being right so often, that is very impressive. Wrong once or twice, no biggie.

Still though, regarding an earlier question, why would a wife need her husband's permission to access to the internet in this modern age? Just curious. This is probably a rule you're accustomed to, so I know the answer will be trustworthy.

It certainly wasn't my intent, but without you telling us, I'm stuck merely using the Holy Spirit as a guide.
        I see.

You jumped to conclusions about us being somehow mean when we are merely trying to bring God's Message to people who so desperately need it.
I guess that did come off a little too bluntly. I can explain how I came to the mean conclusion. But that would be very difficult right here and now seeing it would just cause further chaos. Things are also a little extra sensitive here, so I'll take that into account, albeit that sensitivity could also result into more conclusion jumping. May I say we all did some conclusion-jumping here, or is that wrong?

Aaaand once again, I apologize, no offense to anyone, yep, okay.

As for your last sentence, I think you need to calm down a bit. Nobody has attacked you. Nobody is mean here, and where in one place anywhere has any one of us at any time every misquoted the Bible. This forum is the most consistent with the Scriptures as you will find anywhere.

I must make a point about your meanness, however. I really find it offensive to be accused of hypothetical crimes ("you are a murderer because if you had seen me there you would have killed me" and the like). Here, you accuse of us of offending straight men (presumably including you although you write sort of gay-like) because we WOULD have said something IF the circumstances were completely different.

And we know you are old enough to be married because you should't be here unless you are an adult.

You have a lot to learn, friend. Stick around. We can explain anything you might be questioning.

          in Christ,

          Alex
Thank you, YES, I've been to a church. I only asked here because the answer varies wherever you go, and I was asking that in case I needed to adjust.

You're right about calming down, that did seem a bit crazy, didn't it? I'll take your word on that everyone here is nice. In my defense though, the last sentence wasn't meant to be crazy, and it didn't look like it to me, but it did seem so to other people. That's the same way I ended up seeing some posts being somewhat mean, when the user probably didn't mean it, but it came out that way.

Nope, no hypothetical crimes (where did the murder come from?) I was repeating what I read on here to use as examples that others might have glimpsed at. And I wasn't accusing every single one of you for offending straight men, I was simply putting that as a statement, to one person, in a way of, "saying this is sorta like saying that, careful, ok?" I'm not gay or lesbian, but I still won't say my gender here because here it seems gender plays a huge role on how you're judged. I could elaborate on that, but like I said in a different reply, it'll cause misconceptions and derail the topic drastically.

Welcome to the internet, where age is lied about. Wouldn't be surprising at all if there was a youngin' or two on here pretending to be adults. (To clear it up, yes, I'm old enough to be an adult.)

I'll be sure to stick around. Pretty sure all the confusion cleared up any questions I had, so I'll be hanging around throwing in my two cents here and there.

            Re: hey, there

I can see how some people who have not yet been washed clean of sin by the blood of the Lamb might think the message of the Bible might seem mean.

I regularly witness to the gaywise (as they ply their filthy trade) and sometimes even my gentle rebukes that they are going to Hell are met with confusion and knee jerk assumptions that I am being mean.

Obviously this is not the case: the Bible tells us that God wants them dead and that they will go to Hell with all the dogs and wizards and if I can help one person NOT be sent to Hell to burn for eternity by merciful God I have done my Christian duty.

So many people these days think that it is okay to break God's statutes: these people are told by false Christians that simply being nice is the way to get into Heaven.

Given God's very Word contradicts that I feel it is my duty to save people from having to go to Hell because of thier iniquity.

            All the best.
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

You certainly are right, don't let someone out there do things alone because apparently that would drive them to murder kids. Laws. Change. Evil stuff. Got it.

That's why we need laws that are based on God's morality so disobedient children can properly be identified and stoned to death by due process. As it stands at the moment we are overrun with disobedient children who then turn into disobedient adults and clog up our prisons and welfare systems. Generations of ignoring the evil we are too squeamish to address properly by killing people as God commands have overrun us with queers and disobedient people.

Read your Bible and see how you can join us in righteously turning back the tide and once again pleasing God.

                Praise Jesus!

I am currently on Leviticus. It's not that far in, I know, but I read just a little bit everyday to remember it better. Began about a month ago.
