  • Introducing myself

I hope God can forgive me, I haven't introduced myself properley yet, so:
I was touched by Jesus at a very young age, about three or four years old. I attend the Holy Baptist Church of Thomas the Doubter, preaching to the Teutonic Heathens in a small city named Goch in Germany.
I am a white male, born in Britain but raised in Australia. My biggest wish is to become a true American because God loves Americans more than He loves anyone else. I will be happy to answer any questions. I hope that I have given the required information but if not please let me know and I will supply it as soon as possible.
I believe that this is the Holiest website in the universe.

Praise the Lord! Jesus has touched many of our youngsters here at Landover, and we are glad to see that you are no exception. Once a young one has been touched, it is rare to see them turn from Him later in life.

Hold on just one hot second. Is Thomas the Doubter recognized as anything but an example of an idiot not accepting the supernatural as true fact without verification? I am unaware of any Baptist church being dedicated to his memory. Are you sure it's not a Catholic church? Are any children being molested?

Well, one out of three isn't bad. Tell me: have things been better since the USA freed the world of Hitler? I try not to hold Australia responsible for Hitler, but sometimes it's hard. The von Trapps are at least some redemption.

Praise the Lord! With enough hard work, determination and a well-spent dollar or two, you too can be American! We will do our best to make you a real one! Have you watched Goodfellas?

Well you can start by answering the question that we have hidden right at the top of every single page in this subforum: tell us your favorite Bible verse.

      Re: Introducing myself

Here is where you introduce yourself. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.

That's the actual church. Not the same atheist in joke made up church we've had in two threads in the last few days.

John 5:46,47 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

          Re: Introducing myself

As i quoted in another thread, my favourite bible quote is: 2 Timothy 4:1 - I charge [thee] therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom.
          I am not an athiest.
We named our Church after Thomas the doubter not because we have any doubt on the resurrection of Jesus but because many of the congregation were doubters before they were touched by the Lord. as Thomas said after touching Jesus' wounds : "My Lord and my God!"
We are also known as the Jesus zentrum and we meet at Hasenberg 1, 47533 Kleve, Germany and are not an athiest made up Church. I do understand the brothers sceptism as the name does sound a bit weird and I assume that a lot of atheists try to infiltrate your outstanding Church. we are planning to drop the bit about Thomas in the near future to avoid confusion.
Whein I first joined this Church half of the congregation couldn't even speak English, let alone American! Thanks to one of the brothers at the church who comes from Seattle we were able to teach them Gods language and He, thru the power of the Holy Spirit even managed to rid me of my annoying Australian accent, Praise the Lord!

As was pointed out to you previously, Mummygum, that is not a complete sentence. You are taking it out of context and not quoting it faithfully, placing a period where there is a semicolon.

            2 Timothy 4:1-4
4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
            I am not an athiest.
Really? You misspell it the way most atheists do.
