    G'day

    I too, was taught to accept Christianity, and I did accept it...... blindly. But later in life my eyes and mind were opened to the TRUTH!

    I discovered that NO god brought the Earth and all about us into being.

    I discovered that NO amount of prayer will heal the sick or save a life.

    I discovered Charles Darwin, who didn't profess to be a god but is much nearer to one than any.

    I discovered that piety breeds contempt.

    I also got my brain back on track after years of it being in the wilderness.

    And one day I'm gonna hunt down the catholic preist who beat the hell outa me because I refused to kneel down before him and taste the lords seed.

        I think my Prespeterian Scottish grandmother started the religious brainwashing as far back as I can remember, when my Catholic mother ran off with an American sailor who retreated from the Philippines to Australia with some high ranking general and his mail order bride. Grandma wasn't able to convince me that the Catholic church was just a front for legalized paedophilia, similar to those seventh century moose limbs....but I'm a curious individual always seeking the truth and I soon found out that Granny was right.
