Hello Landover Baptist,

My name is Brenda Lee Jenner. I am 16 years old and recently widowed. My dad says I am to blame because I drove my husband to drink. He told me because I keep screwing up and crying all the time (I am very emotional) that the only way Dennis could deal with me was to stay drunk all the time. Two months ago Dennis passed out with a mouth full of pickled eggs and choked to death. Dad said drunkards go to hell (and it was my fault).

My dad has send me here because he says he is sure I am a curse to him and that maybe his granddaddy did something to anger God and now he is being punished for it. Dad made me read Exodus 20:5-6.

I seem to burn everything I cook, that's how we lost the first house. Dad says this is the first thing I need to learn, how to cook for my husband. Even though I was married to Dennis, I am still a virgin. because Dennis had a bottle of whiskey in his mouth before his feet hit the ground, well he couldn't ....you know.

I live in Jackson, Mississippi and attend Cade Chapel Missionary Baptist. My favorite Bible verse by far is Matthew 22:14 - Dad says to keep that in mind, because there are many many many wrong Christians who are going down to hell.

He hopes Landover Baptist will take me under their wing and make me a good True Christian lady. I hope someone will marry me. I am sorry for the pic of me crying, but I do not have recent pictures of me not crying.

Help me to stop crying

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY PLEASE TAKE MY DAUGHTER! I will sell the truck and house and tithe IT ALL to you. I don't want to end up like Dennis...I am not sure how much more I can take!

Stop crying, God does not like cry babies and neither does anyone else. A smart woman (is there really such a thing?) is a silent woman. Men and God have all the answers. If they do not give them to you it is because either you are too simple minded to understand or just have no need to know.

Hello, and welcome to our friendly forums! I'm sorry to hear you drove your husband to the very evil arms of Satan himself. The guilt must be terrible for you. But there is good news, dear, if you simply confess your sins and believe in Jesus Christ, you can be spared the same fate (Romans 6:23; 1 John 1:9)! You see, God promises He'll completely ignore all the terrible, horrifying, cruel and evil things we did when were yet sinners (Isaiah 43:25 ). That means, it will be like you never drove your husband to drink and kill himself in the first place! And don't you worry about feeling bad about Dennis suffering in Hell all the while you're enjoying life everlasting in Heaven. You won't even think about him once (Isaiah 65:17).

If you live your life according to the terribly simple method God tells you in the KJV Holy Bible, you would not have any problems and you would have a husband that could tolerate you along with the blessing of Jesus, a home full of sons.

Tell me about it. Father Flanagan had his favourites. Thankfully I was too manly in appearance even as a child. but the quiet and weedy ones... well they soon got into the choir and had extra practice sessions.

Be assured that Catholics are vile and repulsive creatures. I am overjoyed to have repented, read the Bible properly and seen that God is as real as the fires of Hell. All that candle lighting, incense swinging and Mary hailing is long in the past.

Welcome to God's favourite forum, dear! It sounds like you cry a lot, no wonder your dead husband was driven to drink . I don't understand why you should cry all the time, surely the thought of Jesus can make you smile anytime? Another thing, the solution to stop being bad at everything is to pray, and to follow the King James Bible 100%.

Welcome, dear, sweet Brenda Lee. I believe you've been treated unfairly. I don't care how much of a drunk your husband was; if he couldn't consummate the marriage, he was surely a queer, and married you under false pretenses.

I'm sorry your father treats you so poorly. Probably it's because he feels guilty about making you marry a drunk queer.

Clearly you just need a little understanding and a shoulder to cry on.

I'm soooooooooper sorry that you're sad all the time.

You should spend more time thinking about JESUS like I do!

See, whenever I get sad that I'm still a virgin and don't have a husband to make me have a baby, I lay down and think really, really, REALLY hard about JESUS!

After I do this for like ten minutes, I get a funny warm feeling in my tummy and I feel tingly and then boom!

I can feel JESUS all through my body, like lightning in my brain, and then afterwards I feel all relaxed and happy!

You should try it!
