I am an Atheist. I wish to have a civilized discussion. I discovered the forum about a month ago, and I was interested in asking some questions. I DO NOT want this to escalate to a flame war. I am simply looking for answers. Who knows? Perhaps you can convert me.

I will simply ask my questions, and leave. You will probably never see or hear from me again.

1. What is the difference between the King John Bible and the original bible?

2. If you believe the universe is only 6000 years old, what do you think of images of stars dated at several billion years old? For example the Hubble Deep Field? Also, what about ancient fossils?

3. Do you believe in Global Warming or Pollution?

4. Do you believe spirits of people from Heaven can contact our world?

5. Do you believe America is the greatest country on the planet? If so, are there any other "good" countries?

6. What is your opinion on Anonymous? They seem to share many of your views? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anonymous_(group)
(For example, they believe many protests and governments are doing very... incorrect things.)

Were you there "billions" of years ago? "Stars" could simply be God's creativity in giving us something to look at in the evenings. Just specks of light under the firmament. I do enjoy them.

2 Cameras are only a couple of hundred years old, no pictures existed before then.

I really wanted to have a friendly conversation. Thank you to Basilissa for giving me some answers without immediately insulting me, changing the title of the thread to make me look almost as rude as you people, and to not being stubborn. The only reason I asked these questions was because I did do research and found the answer to several of them. I could not find the threads answering these questions.

If I am hellbound, so be it. However, in my view, Hell does not exist. Edit my post, make me look like a sadistic bastard, however in the end you will know that you where the ones with the indecency to insult and defile someone who was kind and respectfull to your religion, and was simply asking a question.
