My name is Emily and I live in New York. I used to be an atheist but then I realised that secular theories about evolution and whatever are nonsense. So I came here. Has anyone got any advice on becoming a Christian? There are about 3 baptist churches near me but I don't know if they might be 'false' churches.

Clearly, there is serious sin in your life that has finally made you realize what hopelessly lost and degenerate scum you are without a personal relationship with Jesus, praise God. Tell us what demons you are battling? We are here to help, no matter how filthy and wicked you have been.

My serious sins? Well I used to go around saying 'Jesus doesn't exist' and 'the Bible is full of fairy stories' and I've never been to church in my life. But I'm going to start going as soon as possible.Comment

You knew all along that He existed, but were weak and let the sin run your life as you shunned Him. This is the place to confess all and get right with Him.
Was it sexual sin? Lesbainianism? Chemical dependancy? Embezzlement? You are among friends.
