Hi there guys, there seems to be a lot of discussion here on this site, good bad, some crazy, some scientific and some downright abusive but the common thread is the same, knowledge. I am here to be convinced, educated and (I will admit) partially entertained by some of the more colorful answers contained in these vast halls of chat. The main thing is that what i can learn from all this (good or bad) will be taken with me, I will coment...I will divulge, I will even trim my moustache whilst reading but all in all I am here to learn because I am from that oldest of religious viewpoints....the cult of I don't know and not knowing is the first path to enlightenment.

Here's the problem, this question assumes prior understandin of these ways, Ihave no way, not through atheism or science or the teachings of others but from an inbuilt desire to learn. I am not going ot preach to people that I know things until I learn them so I am here to be presented with the truth.

Then I would admonish you to read the Bible(KJV1611) cover to cover and live by it.

THanks man, but thats not really teaching me anything is it? I have been tearing my hair out all year trying to work this out...which version is the right version and you seem so specific about it...if I go into a car showroom and ask for a Mercedes I am faced with a choice of models, editions and I need to be shown or I make my own choice but I read in the other posts that those who read a different version are somehow wrong? hence why I emplore you to bestow your knowledge, nothing else...I cannot take it on face value alone and now the eybrows of suspicion are being raised on my head as I have just discovered that my profile is suspected of being unsafe trash!! I've been here 5 minutes and already I'm deemed to be a threat? what is this? is it not a mans right to seek knowledge or is it a closed minded groups right to deny questions? I may have made a mistake here if this is how the administrators treat people...not something I would have expected from the few words of this book that I have read. shame

Tom, I hope you are able to read the bible and repent as I have,
It is such a glorious feeling to allow yourself that freedom it makes the spanking my husband for not cleaning the kitchen worth while I am still learning and need discipline often.
