Hello all, my name is Al Simmons.
I am a man who has been lost for quite some time,
you see my story begins in my native Detroit.
I was a good Christian man there, and my life, at least as I intended it to be was dedicated to praising Jesus.
In fact when the time came, I even signed up for a missionary trip to Botswana, to teach the natives.
But on that trip, I came across something despicable.
What that was, was the fact that my family was part of the WBC, and were intending to corrupt the young Batswana children with false Christianity.
Hence, being the Christian I was, I called them on it, and in response, they beat me unconscious and left me in Botswana to die all alone.
Then, as I woke up the next morning, I found a little boy sitting next to me, and out of the goodness of his own heart, he gave me a bowl of water for no repayment whatsoever.
With a smile, I took the water and eventually as the days went on found my way home to Detroit.
Upon which my folks were arrested, and I came here to the LBC.
Thanks you friends, for allowing me to tell my story to you.
