  • Hello new to this forum

My name is Fredrick Scott. A friend alerted me to this forum so I decided to see what I could learn. I wish everyone peace. I find violent and hateful talk poisionous to the soul so I will not respond to anyone who curses, tells lies, and engages in behavior that is ungodly. I was saddened by Pastor Ezekiel's comment to me.

I had just posted something on a thread about the ancient language of the bible (Aramaic) and suggested that if God loved the ancient languages so much as one of the posters said, how come Aramaic is a dead language? Perfectly valid question. Maybe God thought that Aramaic was not as good as another language? Most people speak Chinese does that mean God loves Chinese the most? Simple question. Here is what the pastor said:

"And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself."

He cursed at me. There is no need for this. Would Jesus have said this?

If Jesus wouldn't have said it, neither should you. I like to think before I speak this thought: "Would Jesus say what you are about to say Fred? Would Jesus do what you are about to do?"

    Keeps you on track!

Where do you stand with God, Fredrick? Are you a Christian? Do you go to church?

But I must say I don't like the WWJD (what would Jesus do/ say?) approach. It encourages people to rely on their imaginations rather than on the Bible. For example, most of what we know about Jesus is based on three years of His life. He lived in different times than we do. How can possibly know what He would do or say in every single possible situation? Most of the time you would just have to make it up. That's why He gave us commandments.

You may not like what we have to say, but if you disagree with us when we are quoting God's Word, then your problem is with Him, not us.
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Well, then, let's look and see:

Go to kingjbible.com, type "ass" in the handy dandy little search bar there, hit "enter", and what do we find? "Results 1-15 of 98 occurrences".

If you're a Christian, you believe the Bible to be the Word of God, and according to John 10:30, Jesus is God, so, YES, Jesus WOULD have said that, as a matter of fact HE DID SO ALMOST 100 TIMES.

Why can't you accept Jesus the way He is, and instead continually try to remake Him in your image?

No, that is the devil talking. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Only kindness and love comes from god. We are saddened for those who haven't found Jesus - but we don't spew forth hellfire. Welcome Fred. Just so you know. It is not about you. Get off of it. Ity is about God.

I think you should read our syllabus for new posters as written by Pastor Billy-Reuben. It really explains all you need to know as far as our beliefs. It also outlines what is expected as far as your behavior on these forums.

Here are your rights as articulated by Dr. Enobarbus.

New members are requested to make an introduction for themselves.

We always encourage everyone to back up all claims with scripture from the Holy Bible.

Chances are the question you want to have answered has been asked before. I would be sure to use the search function before diving head first into people who are tired of hearing the same question over and over.

First of all, this is NOT a debate forum. We're right and you're wrong, according to Jesus and the Holy Word of God. Please read THIS thread before making an even bigger fool of yourself.

Secondly, while the internets might seem to be "free" to you, this particular corner of the internets is a privately owned Christian forum. The rights you have on this forum are listed HERE. Please contact a Pastor immediately if you feel that any of your rights have been violated.

Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that. One of the most important commandments in the Bible tells us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. You wandered in here uninvited, and unwelcome .

If you want to debate people, THIS is the place to go.

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Jesus tell us us in Leviticus 20:13 that those homers need to be killed. When I first became a Christian I had to severe two long friendships with a pair of queers I had known for ages.

I valued their friendships and felt the loss most keenly when I had to stand up and tell them that they were dirty, filthy probable child rapist (the rest of the wedding ceremony was rather strain, I can tell you).

But as a Christian I follow Jesus in all things and he hates queers.

People think it is easy being a Christian but it took me many months until I could honestly say I could hate queers as much as the next Christian. But Jesus was there, always at my side, lending me the moral certitude to channel that sense of loss of the friendship of two of the nicest fellas that you could meet into righteous fury that they should fall in love with each other.

I hope this highlights what t means to be a Christian.

              God bless.
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

                Welcome, Fredrick.

We are a True Christian™ family and we never talk "poisonous," but we do talk honest. Please distinguish between the two.

Because God preferred the American language, obviously, as He does EVERYTHING American. Jesus Christ Himself was an American. That is why America has prospered and is well on the way to conquering the world as a Theocracy after those who believe like us finish obliterating the Constitution and turn things back to the way they should be.

Once again, distinguish between honest "tough love" and something Jesus wouldn't say. Jesus could not dictate to us word-for-word what He'd want us to say or the Bible would have to be 80 miles tall. Instead, we apply Biblical principles to lead us to say what is edifying, true, and beneficial to the soul (Philippians 4:8).

Piece of advice, Fredrick--nobody likes a whiner!

                  Hi, Fredrick, and welcome.

I wish everyone peace. I find violent and hateful talk poisionous to the soul so I will not respond to anyone who curses, tells lies, and engages in behavior that is ungodly.
                  Amen!

I was saddened by Pastor Ezekiel's comment to me.
Don't be sad. It is no shame to be rebuked by a man as godly as is Pastor Ezekiel. Just be sure to learn from your mistakes!

We don't need Aramaic anymore, since God's Word has found its ultimate expression in the King James Bible, version 1611. God chose English as the best language in which to convey His Holy Word. Who are we to question it?

He cursed at me. There is no need for this. Would Jesus have said this?
You have a point there. Jesus would not have called you an ass. Jesus prefered to call people blind, fools, hypocrites, and vipers. See pretty much all of Matthew Chapter 23, for example.

If Jesus wouldn't have said it, neither should you.
Very well. Please think before you make a bigger blind fool of yourself by posting, you hypocritical viper.

That's the way Jesus would have said it.

Perhaps it would help if you explained which parts of The Bible were written in Aramaic?

What? There isn't any cursing there. Are you mad.
