  • The lord hath saveth me

Welcome Landover, I am quite new to this forum, and despite me not being American, I am still a very convinced Christian and serve only to my almight Father, God, and accept Jesus, who He has sacrificed on the cross to cleanse humanity from our dreadful sins, as my lord and saviour.

Blessings be upon thee! May we once all be reunited in heaven.

Look at the box right above your post: that should explain things.

      Oh.
Well, I guess I haven't proven myself yet.
I pray to God for that he will give me strength to prove myself as a worthy Christian...

Until then, I do apologize for any inconvenience my status causes.

        Good grief.

Attention Unsaved Trash: This the ONLY subforum you can start threads in. Here is where you introduce yourself. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.

          Oh my.

          Jack,

You didn't post a proper introduction. There's still time to not look like a furrin idiot

There is a thread above this one that gives information for new folks that they should read before even making the first post. You obviously didn't take the time to look around.

Tell us a little about how you came to make JESUS first and foremost in your life. Share your favorite KJV Bible verse and what it means to you. What is it about our LORD that shakes you from the top of your empty head to the soles of your cheap unAmerican shoes?

Why? Well - because you were instructed to by the True Christians that made this forum, that's why

          In Brotherly Love,

Well, excuse me. I thought you meant my profile.

Anyway, I attend a rather small local church - my exact location I will not immediately compromise, I feel safer that way - and came to find Jesus at a young age, and ever since that, he never let go of me. I love Jesus for everything he did, of course.

As for my favorite Biblical verse, well, I'd have to say that mine is Rom 5:8 - "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

You feel safer for not telling us where you are, huh?

Are you a terrorist? Is there a reason we might attack you?

I hope you aren't British! If you are, do you ever run into the Beatles?

Oh, I just think that giving out exact information about my location on a public forum is nothing I have chosen to do - mainly due to unfortunate events on other forums. So, sorry. I'm not a terrorist, either, I could not willingly harm a fly.

And my physical father is from Britain, yes, though I have moved out of that country and now reside in Germany.

Hello and welcome to our friendly forum

I do hope that the church you attend is a Baptist one.

Also, you should throw away whatever you are using as the Bible, because it is some kind of a diabolical (per)version. The verse Romans 5:8 in the KJV version is as follows:

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

I love this verse, too. It lies in close proximity of the explanation why we all die:

                  Romans 5:12-19:
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

We are all sinners since birth, because of what Adam and Eve did. Don't you just love our Great God for his decisiveness and strength to carry out His revenge?
God created fossils to test our faith.

I just don't have any violent tendencies...
Of course, if someone were to perverse or twist the beautiful words of our Saviour, I would liberally attack that person.

Alas, Basilissa, you are right! I love God for having an unmatched decisiveness to carry out His revenge.

Re: The lord hath saveth me

                        Welcome Brother!

If you seek congress with other Christians you have come to the right place.

It is good that you have not forgotten the English language, even though you have escaped that land. Most of the American tribe left Great Britain long ago, but we have not forgot our roots, nor have we forsaken our brothers who may have been left behind. We are aware that there are still a few Christians and we pray for them daily.

Now, you are living in the land of the Hun. Do they have those little tiny refrigerators like you have in England, or do they favor the large American style? Are the members of your Church actually Germans, or all foreigners like yourself?

I did want to mention that a nonviolent attitude is laudable, but when encountering the enemies of Jesus and God it is best to have a more old timey attitude. I understand there are many Muslims in your vicinity. It is best to keep your powder dry and be prepared for anything. God did not give us revolvers for target practice.

Tell us a little about yourself and some of the highlights of your walk with Jesus.

                        God Bless!
God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day- Psalm 7:11

Re: The lord hath saveth me

Ah, thank you, brother, languages are one of my favourite exercises, and I have not even dared forgetting English - actually, I believe it's impossible at this point - and as such, I will carry on speaking it, thinking it, you know.

Actually, I have an American-styled refrigerator at home, simply because they are a lot more convenient than those small... things (I wouldn't call those refrigerators, anyway) I use to see around here.

I will keep an eye laid on that issue, no worries. I shall defend my pride.

My highlights on my walk with Jesus? Oh, there are many!
I want to mention one specific one... it was not too long ago when I was bare witness of blasphemous intent by some prude infidels, trying to mock me because of my religion, when Jesus reminded me of his sacrifice, which made me defend my religion, and in a long debate, I actually managed to convince those infidels of their sins and got them to be fellow Christians.
I have since then lost touch with them, though, so I cannot tell an end to this story.

The work of Christians is to bring the sinful unto the Lord.
