The world is a garbage bin... and we are all trash collected by Jesus.

    Hello world,

My name is Richard, but my friends call me Big Dick (I am 6'9'' so the nickname never surprised me). I am Caucasian with blonde hair and blue eyes.

I was born in Kalamazoo, MI deep within the belt of our lord and savior. My parents met years ago at a conference held quarterly by my church, the Netherlands Reformed Baptist Church. There is little "warm" love in my family (my parents were nearing 20 and STILL UNWED so they met and married weeks later) but this fact has never bothered me as I have always known the all encompassing cold love of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

At the ripe age of 3 I began going to "Sunday" school 4 times a week for 3 hours per session, and I have been hooked on Jesus since!

Thought I was home schooled (and well educated) for all of my life with my 16 brothers and sisters, I felt the need to head off to college to confront sinners in their Socialist Communist Fascist dens to bring everyone I could to Jesus (and notify the rest that they would be burning for all eternity). I was lucky enough to meet my wife at the sweet age of 16, and with our parents consent we were wed just months later. We now have 8 beautiful children, and are expecting a 9th. I am praying for another boy!

    Nice to meet you all!

Welcome Richard. What Bible verse to you feel is most applicable to todays fast paced times?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Oh, and my favorite bible verse? Leviticus 10! Now I know why God hath given me this allergy: to make my life easier... what a blessing~!
      Leviticus 11:9-12

      King James Version (KJV)

9 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

I missed your post brother, so sorry about that. If I had to apply any on verse to our lives today?

            Hi Big Dick!

It's a pleasure to see another Dick come into our forum, spreading the milk of human kindness to God's favorite place on the interwebs. We have other Dicks here that you'll occasionally come across.

How many of your children are male? Are they proving to be worthy Soldiers for Christ? I pray you weren't disappointed by having too many daughters, if any. It's such a waste of nine months of your time, putting up with the nonsense that the weaker sex causes the more rational male during the gestation.

I have visited KZoo several times, so I feel like I know you already.

Please share more about Big Dick, brother. We all want to enjoy you.

            Brother Larry
