Amen to that! I shed animal blood for Jesus with my Smith and Wesson 500 Mag Hunter each and every day. Are you a shoot them through the head or a shoot them through the heart man?

While I do indeed enjoy getting my gun off, I am best reminded of the wonders of the Creator's imagination when slaughtering the beasts with my bare hands after giving them a fair fight. Of course, since the Lord intended all animals to be at our complete disposal, there should be no condemnation in taking a little pleasure when providing for my family, no? After all, it is written in Genesis 9:3 - "Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things."

Some shun this instrument, but I have always been interested in its intricacies. Is it true that it is best to alternate the amount of pressure with which you hold it, and as you slide across it that you should keep your lips moist and smooth? Where did you first learn to play?
How very kind your words are! It is true that the Lord has graciously endowed me with a number of fortunate traits. In fact, I developed a proficiency for the skin flute at a very young age, learning to coax from it the most pleasurable melodies using only my supple, boyish grip. The joy it brought me sustained me through years of lonliness, until unfortunately the activity consumed me. My spiritual leaders spent years reigning in my exuberance and eventually I found respite in Paul's directions, outlined in 1st Corinthians 7:1-5...
"Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband..."
And that is when I met my wife... but I digress. I am a bit concerned about your level of curiousity regarding my favorite instrument, which is reserved for use only within the sacred bedchambers, ordained by the Holy One. I may need to address this issue with your husband and/or father. However, your persistant interest is overshadowed by your meek, femininity. I find your naivete truly charming. Dear Sister, may God grant you the patience to wait in purity until your blossom is righteously plucked. And until that day, you must take solace in these Holy words:
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness... Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. (Ephesians 6:14,16)

Kind Sir, Whatever do you mean? I was referring to a flute made with skin. I hope the good men and fine women of the church will come to my aid if I have been misled. I shall not bother posting messages to you again; my intention was to support your love of music, but you have turned my innocence and purity to some form of sport. I am in tears as I write this and will speak to my father about you.

Re: Grace and Peace to you from God our Father

Forgive me if I divulged too much. I was simply sharing my experiences as a worshiper and then may have gotten a little confused. I think the main point I should have made is that it is not the instrument that matters, nor its size, or even your technique, but whether or not you make a joyful noise unto the Lord! So I hope my previous message does not discourage you for too long.

I'd like to learn what your favorite form of worship is. Remember, if you don't praise Him, the very stones will cry out --> Luke 19:37-40

That is a remarkable verse for we can read it in its entire context
Heb:9:19: For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
Heb:9:20: Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
Heb:9:21: Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
Heb:9:22: And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Heb:9:23: It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
Heb:9:24: For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
            Heb:9:25: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
Heb:9:26: For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Hebrews 9 sums up so much: there is Jesus in heaven where he has been since the world began. There He was, we imagine as an adult, and yet He is born as a baby of a virgin. He is a sacrifice that keeps giving: God who cannot die but Who dies. And we see in Paul’s Epistle to The Hebrews that Paul knew that the world was coming to an end, as, indeed, it has been ever since and is now.
