Agree... translating the Bible is a nasty setup...lotta politic and issues involved (Aaaaaah, I remember how we had a problem with 'good news bible'... but doesn't God want his word heard by everyone? must one be able to speak English (american) to be saved? We've got a society in SA where we strive to conquer the language barrier so that the good news may be heard by all.

Kyle, So you attend the Dutch Reformed Church in SA. Have you considered changing to the Baptist Church? Although it may be that the Baptists Churches there are full of negros, in which case I sympathise. If that's so, you need to supplement your religious needs by being a member on here. Only then, will you fully accept Jesus into your life. Here, we take every Word of God in the Bible as Truth. We don't just take the nice bits and ignore the nasty bits like all those false churches. We take it all. If you really believe in God, you will want that too.


Where do you live in SA? I visited there 37 years ago - a beautiful country. I didn't get to the Cape Province as I was a student and we were hitch-hiking on limited funds. I visited Joburg, Durban, Transkei, Drakensburgs etc.

My touchscreen decided to post before I finished typing... as we say in afrikaans, a good understanding needs half a word. but seriously... they making a great *** potty language *** ... a lot of whites may not be employed full time because of laws promoting black workforce... or be employed whatsoever! universities deny me... if you want to study if you're white you need CASH. I stay in pretoria. Not al blacks are bad... one might find a freind in them, as they reminisce of the good old days. And trying to debate with a black guy? Ha! I see that you're only 22. So you never knew the good old days. The people I met were friendly and trusting. It was a safe place. The zulus were nice. And the xhosa knew their place. It was a Godly country.

Kyle, as a child, I spent a few winters (summers in SA) in Sun City with my family at the compound. Idyllic days, quiet, peaceful, the nigras silently doing what God put them on Earth to do, serve the White man.
Going on safari, sending a nigra out in just a loin cloth, running through the bush, scaring up game, occasionally falling and getting hit by our Land Rover or being attacked my an animal before we could shoot.
Many a nigress spread her flower in a futile attempt to have me get them out of laundry duty scrubbing out our pure White clothes with lye. Being Christian, of course I was immune to to the lure of the flesh. At the end of the vacation, I would share my diary with the property manager to let him know who 'acted out'.
Now of course, with the nigras roaming unrestrained out of the enclosed chained paddocks, the country is no longer safe and no intelligent man would go there.
But I have my cherished memories.
