None of the things you have mentioned necessarily have anything to do with religion. I'm not even sure what some of those are, and I'd rather you didn't educate me on the subject as I'm sure it's probably something lewd and disgusting that no sane Goth would be interested in.

You can prove none of these things are anything that more than one or two Goths do, and obviously you cannot just an entire group numbering in thousands by what a few idiots may do, anymore than you can judge the entire human race by what Christians do. I'd be surprised if you could prove that even ONE Goth anywhere in the world has done anything decent ever, except maybe "inter-racial marriage" or "self mutilation." But self mutilation has more to do with wanting attention or being depression, not with what music you listen to.

As I said, Goths are just fans of Goth music. Nothing more, nothing less. That is the only thing that makes someone a Goth. The only thing you can correctly assume about someone based on them being Goth, is that they listen to Goth bands.

You certainly have a one-track-mind. Has a Pastor ever diagnosed you with demon induced autism or anything of that nature? Were you like this before goth turned your brain into a fecal slurry? Tell me evetything you can, so that I can better discern the type of imp that drives you to wickedness.

I came here for one reason and one reason only. Why on earth would I deviate from that topic? All you people do is try to twist others words and get them all turned around, and constantly attempt to insult them. All because you can't BACK UP anything you say about Goths with any actual evidence. So you want to get them off the subject. Well I'm sorry, but it is not going to happen with me.

If you can give an actual example of how Goth music is "evil" or "satanic" by quoting lyrics to an actual Goth song, maybe then you would have a valid point. But you can't even distinguish between Goth and other forms of Rock or Metal music, so I can't imagine you could possibly provide such evidence.

So basically you learned about Goth from a bunch of other people that have no idea what Goth is, and have not properly researched the scene? Sounds kind of impossible for your "knowledge" to be accurate. Although I already knew it wasn't.

Most Goths are against drugs. And drugs are not permitted within the club scene. Most Goths also can't stand Hot Topic; Mallgawths are generally made fun of by the actual Goth scene because they look ridiculous. I don't now where you got the idea that you can buy a real corset with steel boning at Hot Topic, or a long velvet skirt outside of Halloween, but you are badly misinformed.

I don't think anything about which bands are Goth. Unlike you people, I KNOW what Goth is. And this does matter because everything you Christians say about the Goth scene, all your opinions, are based on people and bands who ARE NOT GOTH! You cannot judge the Goth scene based on people who aren't even Goth. Nor can you prove anything about the Goth scene, using people who are not Goth. Just because some Goths wear black and some people who aren't Goth wear black, does not mean you can assume what the people in black who aren't Goth are doing is something the actual Goths are doing. That would be like someone taking something the Muslims do and blaming it on Christians, just because you believe in one god.

You have no idea what I look like, you've never seen any pictures of me. If you must know, and the only reason I will tell you is to show how you jump to conclusions when you should not. I do not wear make-up. My mother has never worn make-up because she is allergic to it, and when I was in middle school I developed that same allergy. Do I still have it after more than 7 years? I have no idea. Quite frankly, I don't care. I've never seen the point of anyone but unattractive people wearing make-up, but some people like certain looks I guess.

Not everyone in the Goth scene wears the same make-up, or even wears make-up at all. It IS just about the music, that's all Goth is...a genre of music and at term used for the fans of the music. That is the only thing every Goth definitely has in common, as everything else each individual Goth does is a matter of personal choice. While there may be a style that is popular within the Goth scene, not every fan of the music has to or does follow that fashion style. Some fans of Goth music actually dress very "normal", they are still Goths because they are fans of the music and that is what a Goth is.

Listening to a style of music is not a cry for help. It just happens to be that some people like that style of music. I know...it's always unfathomable to people who don't like something, how someone else possibly could. But it happens.

Assuming all Goths are lesbians is an unfair and childish reaction. Are you forgetting about how many Goth men there are? That the first Goth band Bauhaus were all men? Have you not realized that many Goths are actually both married to and attracted to men, like myself and the famous Goth Patricia Morrison? She is married to the singer Dave Vanian; they have a child together. There are more straight Goths at the Goth events I have been to, and I have met a lot more straight Goths online, than bisexual or homosexual ones.

What "boatloads of evidence"? Have you not posted any articles or links proving that Goths do any of these things. The only things on your forum supposedly proving anything about Goth are Christians posting videos/lyrics to Black Metal bands (which are very far removed from Goth), and more accusations about school shootings being done by Goths, when the criminals involved do not listen to Goth music as far as you know, because there is either no mention of what music they listen to. When it is mentioned, it is something like Marilyn Manson and Slipknot, neither of which are Goth. And the only article that does even refer to anyone as Goth are the ones about Columbine, and as I said that is obviously incorrect, or Sophie Lancaster who was a murder victim not a criminal. I have no idea where you would get the assumption that the other crimes were perpetrated by Goths. I have not seen any evidence on here provided that shows actual Goths committing any kind of crime, doing any of the things you all claim, or any lyrics to actual Goth bands showing what their lyrical themes are. There has certainly been no attempt at providing any real evidence to back up anyone's claims in this thread, except for the evidence provided by myself which you find an excuse to delete because you don't want to know the truth. Saying " But someone said Goths do this" and "Goths do that" is not providing evidence.

You can't fail at being Goth unless you do not listen to Goth music and you are running around saying you are a Goth.

I have read in the papers time and time again about how at some goth meeting, blood was drunk, a virgin sacrified and babies eaten. If this had been a single occurence, I'd willingly chalk it up to a few kids out being kids. But at leasy once a month I hear about some horrific scene discovered by the police. Charlie, at the VA State police tells me there are more of these going on than even the press knows about and that it is reaching epidemic proportions. Apparently, in some states, the national guard has been called in and entire counties fenced off and on lock down, wigh a guard at every man, woman and child, waiting on the full moon for the goth bloodlust to start so they know who to take away.
Charlie told me that Goth PR reps would be out amoung decent people, trying to 'play down' the horrors of the goth disease. They will tell you anything to get you to think they are 'innocent kids just listening to music'. Charlie said not to shoot or touch a goth, just in case any 'gets on you'. Makes sense to me.
We have a few punks near where I live. I have a few of my boys keeping an eye on them. One false move and my boys (wearing camo hazmat suits) will pounce like jackals.

So you know a police officer? Well guess what? My cousin is a police officer, my neighbour is a retired police officer, my friend's nephew is applying for the state police, and there are a lot of Goths who are/were police. One of the former managers of Club Orpheus is a retired police officer, and he has been in the Goth scene since at least the 80s.

If entire areas had been fenced off for any such thing, it would be in the news. Do you really think any parent is going to believe such outrageous and obvious lies?
