As all of us fortunate ones gather today to feast and give thanks to the Almighty, let us remember to thank GOD for the gift of Thanksgiving itself.


A day handed down to us from that first familial gathering when the native Americans and the new settlers to this strange land sat in peace and harmony - well, until the massacre that is - to share new ideas and new ways of doing things (ours) so that we wouldn't grow to be a nation of the heathens that were already here. That whole smallpox thing was such a nasty mess - but we're sorry. The important thing is, we conquered and brought about a new, Baptist way of life so that God's family could gather here on this continent to praise Him and thank Him. Glory!


There would be no Trump without that first Thanksgiving Day. I am humbled.

Decent Indians are very thankful to have been civilized and churched lo these many years. They were naked and lawless and without Christ before the first Christians stepped foot in America. After reading about the massacre of White Families, at the hands of the Powhatan indians, it is completely clear that the indians were very racist towards White people, and because of my ignorance, and choosing to be lead around by followers of Satan. I too have been a Satan worshiping racist for too many years unfortunately. I can see now why Whites call us negros, because we have acted and behave like ungodly people, just like the indians were.

Thank Jesus Christ for giving the power to the White race, and thank God for the Buffalo Soldiers. Now that I'm starting to take responsibility for my past sins, I'm starting to see that I was nothing more than a child my whole life, who believed in all the lies that were told to me about the violence and torture that White people supposedly did to the indians.

I'm still learning, but how you explained it, truly gave me some comfort, when talking about murder and enslaving other races. Me being a negro, my ancestors were slaves, and had their land and possessions taken from them (even to this day). This is a little bit tricky because the Bible mandates obeying secular laws (Romans 13:1-7, Titus 3:1, Hebrews 13:17, 1 Peter 2:13-15). Hence, we cannot do anything that law doesn't allow. Unfortunately, the U.S. has signed the Geneva Conventions which are an abomination in the eyes of the Lord, and which prohibit killing or even enslaving civilians. It is a shame, but what can we do - Jesus wants us to obey the secular laws.

1 Timothy 6:1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.

19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.

For the sake of being very transparent, I have to admit that I still have a lot of nigger in me. And I say that because when I read through your post, for just about two seconds, I was reverting back to thinking like a nigger, and saying to myself, "how can she be this happy over..." And then I stopped real quick, because I found myself being racist. Because when it comes to black on black crime, I didn't give crap at all.

And by no means am I bragging about the crime I committed. But to actually catch myself right in the moment, did take some work, because most of us negros have gone through years of brainwashing, and admittedly judge you for what you're saying. When I should be the last person making any type of judgments, because I don't even care about my own race of people.

The greater point in all of that, is that I fooled myself into thinking that a month or two online, is going to make me the perfect Christian. Indeed He did! In fact, He also provided detailed instructions, which vary depending on whether slaves are Saved™ or unsaved.

Male Saved slaves (Hebrews in the Old Testament; that was before Jews killed Jesus and stopped being His chosen nation) are more like indentured servants, who serve a specific amount of time and then go free:

Exodus 21:2-4
2 If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.
3 If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him.
4 If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.

However, the seven year rule does not apply to females. When a father sells his daughter, she remains slave as long as her master likes her - only after he gets bored, gets himself a new woman, and stops having sex with her, she can go free:

Exodus 21:7-11
7 And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.
8 If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.
9 And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.
10 If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.

Now, heathen slaves of both sexes, as well as their children, remain slaves forever:

44 Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.
45 Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.

Of course, our God is not cruel, so the slaves have some rights, too.

20 And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.
21 Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.

Isn't it great? A slave master cannot beat his slave so long that the slave dies the same day. That would be cruelty and such a horrible master needs to be punished. However, if the beaten slave survives the night and dies the next day, that is perfectly OK in the eyes of the Lord. Praise Him for His mercy!

So there are specific situations where the laws of man, supersede God? Would this be the only case?

Laws of man do not supersede Laws of God. However, Law of God says we have to follow secular laws. That's not superseding anything, that's following God's orders.

Not only them, but all of the people who are subject to sex trafficking, forced to work in sweatshops making our clothes, and all other oppressed people, including workers with low wages. You're absolutely correct. Worrying about my ancestry all the time, instead of reading the Bible from cover to cover, is why I'm still pushing back, instead of leaning all the way in without hesitation.

4 If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.

However, the seven year rule does not apply to females. When a father sells his daughter, she remains slave as long as her master likes her - only after he gets bored, gets himself a new woman, and stops having sex with her, she can go free:

Exodus 21:7-11
7 And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.
8 If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.
9 And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.
10 If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.
11 And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money.

Now, heathen slaves of both sexes, as well as their children, remain slaves forever:

Leviticus 25:44-46
44 Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.
45 Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.
46 And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.

Of course, our God is not cruel, so the slaves have some rights, too.

Exodus 21:20-21
20 And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.
21 Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.

Isn't it great? A slave master cannot beat his slave so long that the slave dies the same day. That would be cruelty and such a horrible master needs to be punished. However, if the beaten slave survives the night and dies the next day, that is perfectly OK in the eyes of the Lord. Praise Him for His mercy!

That was an amazing breakdown, and yes! The Lord does show mercy to the slave, and I'm upset at myself for listening to others that didn't truly understand what the Bible was really saying. And being a Jealous God is wonderful, because He's making it clear that there's no one else but Him, that we should be following.

Laws of man do not supersede Laws of God. However, Law of God says we have to follow secular laws. That's not superseding anything, that's following God's orders.

Not only them, but all of the people who are subject to sex trafficking, forced to work in sweatshops making our clothes, and all other oppressed people, including workers with low wages. I think the best lesson we can take from here, is that God hates labor unions and civil rights movements which fight to change existing laws and improve lives of oppressed people.

I absolutely agree with that because God didn't make everyone equal for a reason. So having unions or civil rights movements, only creates the false idea that we're equal to True Christians. And trying to be equal with someone that we know in our hearts is better than us, has never worked out for us, and it has only created a world that we have today.

Here at Landover we stick to the King James Bible. Some of the newer translations try to modify the Inerrant Word of God by softening the tone of some verses.

You don't have to buy it, you can receive it at many places for free. If you are OK with reading on the screen, a good online resource is the King James Bible website:

If you do want to compare parallel translations, this is one of the options:

This verse is translated basically the same way, but when there are verses which are translated differently, it helps to see where are the sources of misunderstanding, as the same page provides translations of the words in the original text.

So, to reiterate, all people have equal chances of being Saved (well, except for those who live and die without ever hearing about Jesus - too bad for them, they are automatically sent to Hell, John 3:18), but the Bible does not endorse equality within human society. Jesus lived in a hierarchical, unequal society, and He wants us to live the same way.

It's amazing how many people still choose not wanting to be Saved.

They were brainwashed into believing that their own belief systems are somehow superior to Christianity. In fact, God often intentionally gives such false beliefs to people, so that they believe lies and are doomed to suffer in Hell. I'd say, that explains why there are so many false religions in the world:

Ezekiel 20:25-26
25 Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live;
26 And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the Lord.

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

These verses teach us that God finds pleasure in playing with sinners' lives by clouding their judgment and condemning them to Hell. Someone could say, that this is very cruel of Him, but who are we to judge God?

We are in no place to ever judge what God finds pleasure in. All we should do is read the Bible from cover to cover, and follow His teachings, so we can pass them on to others that need to be saved by His love and grace.
